PERSONAL Dr. Gaines lives in Colts Neck with his wife Lori and three children Benjamin, Amanda and Andrew. He enjoys sailing, mountain and road biking, skiing, art, music and keeping up with the kids.
She was the recipient of the Outstanding clinical achievement award at Suny and the Victor Fumia Award for excellence in fixed Prosthodontics. She has apassion forall aspects of dentistry for children and adults and is a member of the American and New Jersey Dental Associations.
Dr. Jackie Ubhaus is a graduate of Rutgers School of Dental Medicine where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2018, and was a member of the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society. Upon graduation, she completed a General Practice Residency at Virtua Hospital in Camden, NJ. She is also a proud alumna of Montclair State University.
Dr. Ubhaus is an active member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. She is committed to providing her patients with great, compassionate dental care and believes in patient education.
Dr. Ubhaus lives in Chesterfield and enjoys hiking, especially with her dog Quinn. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, camping, and keeping active by participating in various athletic events.

Dr Gaines and his staff are like no other. Anywhere else I 've been your just a number, its all about money. NOT here, they are the best and over time I have developed a friendship..not to mention nobody could fix my "complicated case"..well Dr Gaines had a fix in 5 minutes with no problems. Go nowhere else but here!

I have yet to visit this office and leave disappointed. The staff is incredibly professional, friendly and personable. The dental hygienist and Dr Lee are all equally as kind and efficient. Office hours are accommodating for after work visits and my teeth are always clean and feeling great when I leave. Plus I get a goodie bag when I leave; win-win!

This was my first office visit. My husband recommended them. They spent nearly an hour and a half on my teeth and discussing their concerns of what they found. Not pushy at all with a recommendation. Friendly and very professional. My teeth felt and looked like a million bucks! It was a mouth spa experience

Looking for a more than pleasant dental experience? This is the place for you. From the moment you enter, you'll feel welcome by the friendly front desk staff. I had the best cleaning I've had in years with absolutely no discomfort. Then on to see Dr Gaines who fixed a chipped front tooth. Dr Gaines will absolutely fix whatever problem you may have all the while making you feel at ease with a gentle touch. He's up to date on all the latest material and procedures. I just started going to Lawrence Dental Associates and have had great experiences so far. I had a few things that I needed to get done. Dr Jackie Ubhaus has been the best. She makes you feel comfortable and explains things every step of the way.The office staff have all been very friendly and there's always little to no wait. I would recommend this office and Dr. Ubhaus to others.

Having been a patient of Lawrence Dental for some years, I have seen staff come & go. A few of the current staff were there from the start. Dr. Gaines has an EXCELLENT team in this office. I have absolute confidence in Dr. Gaines & Dr. Lee. They are adept & considerate. They are both genuinely nice people. Lydia is terrific at the desk in all aspects of her duties. She is responsive & follows up. I enjoy conversation as I am being worked on with Maggie & Joanna. They are responsive & pleasant. Lawrence Dental is only the second dentist office I felt this way about. The other was the dentist I grew up with. I like the way they operate & I can practice my Polish there too sometimes. I would highly recommend Dr.Lee based on my 2 visits with her. She is not only a good dentist and very thorough but, also very professional yet kind. I had a pretty tricky job and she took her time and communicated with me during the entire procedure. The entire staff that I have dealt with were also very professional yet personable. I highly recommend them. Update: Dr. Lee is no longer there but, I've been back a few times since for some work and have been seeing Dr. Jackie. Also excellent. Very pleased with the work my new dentist has done. She, too, is very attentive, very down to earth and communicates well. Her work is great!
