During your very first visit, we will review your dental and medical history forms, and take X-rays of your teeth and mouth. One of our dentists will meet with you to discuss your X-rays, help you create your own individual treatment plan, and answer any questions you may have. At this visit one of our hygienists may clean and polish your teeth, and inspect your teeth and gums for cavities or early signs of tooth decay or gingivitis.
The American Dental Association recommends a visit to your dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleanings to keep your teeth and gums healthy. Patients with active periodontal disease may have a need more frequent visits.

Dr. Simmons grew up in Novi, Michigan. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan and continued on to dental school at University of Michigan. Following graduation, she completed a year long Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.

Born and raised in Metro Detroit, its the city Ive spent nearly my entire life. Its here that we raised two incredible sons. Our first, Andrew,made his way to Hollywood after graduating U of M to pursue a career in film direction. Each year he becomes more and more googleable. Matt is apartner and dentist in ourgrowingfamily practice. He brings a kind of humor that makes work seem like recreation. After raising two sons, I am also fortunate to have two wonderful daughters in laws, Amanda and Lindsey. When Im not caring for patients, I enjoy some swimming and tennis.These are second only to taking walks with my lovely wife, Jill. Travel is another passion of mine, taking opportunities to travel domestic and abroad. My belief system is forged around the idea that giving back to the community is not only a luxury, its the responsibility of every professional. Putting that belief into practice, Ive been involved with theTri-County Dental Health Councilfor more than40years. Much younger than that are my young grandkids, Peyton, Foster, and Charlie.
