A few years ago, a 5 year old girl walked into this office for a dental visit with Dr. Donald Beckman. 28 years later, after working in different style practices and clinics, Dr. Duke began working alongside her childhood dentist and mentor. While standing at the sink one day, Dr. Beckman asked Dr. Duke if she would be interested in buying his practice. She went home and talked it over with her husband, wrote what they could afford on a piece of paper, handed it to Dr. Beckman the next day, he pocketed the paper and they shook hands. Dr. Duke purchased the practice from her childhood dentist in 1989 and has loved it every day since.
Dr. Duke and Dr. Beckman worked together, allowing Dr. Duke to be a mother and continue to be mentored by the dentist she respected so much. His most treasured phrase to her as she acquired his lovely practice and began updating the technology was: no problem, THATS PROGRESS and always with his kind smile.
Laurene K. Duke DDS Total Wellness Dentistry has evolved much since 1989, but Dr. Duke still operates with the goal of providing the best care and technology available while maintaining old-fashioned relationships with her patients. We want this to be your dental home, not just another doctors office.
Noemi started working with Dr. Duke in December 2013. She has worked in dentistry since 2000. Her favorite part of dentistry is laser surgery. The results are always amazing with minimal recovery time. In her free time, Noemi enjoys spending time with her 3 children, 3 pups and husband.
Chelsea has been working with Dr. Duke for 20+ years. She started by watering trees and sharpening pencils. Over the years she has learned a great deal about the business of dentistry and greatly enjoys working with her Mom. In her free time, Chelsea enjoys travelling anywhere she can, her photos can be seen throughout the office.
Alana worked with us periodically for 5+ years before becoming our full time hygienist in February 2021. She has worked in dentistry for over 15 years and enjoys educating patients on how to improve the health of their smile. In her free time, Alana enjoys time outdoors with her husband or hanging out with her cat while crafting.

would not recommend. Came across this business somehow. Used to work for laurene in 2012. She is short tempered and money hungry. She treated me with 0 respect and even went as far as to tell me I was not a good assistant when I told her I quit. Stay away if you don't want to be judged.

Dr Duke is amazing! I was a patient at BrightNow and I needed a sleep apena specialist. Dr. Duke was one of two and the closes. After the first appointment, I knew I would be a patient. Dr. Duke suggested that if I have my tonsils removed, it could alleviate my sleep apena and other major health problems. So I went ahead and did it, I had nothing to loose. The first night after my healing process, I did a cartwheel out of bed! I had actually fallen into a deep sleep and felt it. I was so refreshed and energized. I feel like a new me. My mental health has improved and I've lost weight. Had I not found Dr. Duke when I did, I would still be a angry, lazy, overweight zombie hopped up on caffeine just to make it through the day. If you're having second thoughts on getting your tonsils removed, I hoped this helped. If you're having second thoughts on seeing Dr. Duke, stop it. She is the best thing since sliced bread and she keeps getting better like a fine wine. Everyone in that office is awesome. You will have a great experience. She is now my go to dentist. BrightNow can suck it easy.

Dr. Duke has amazing passion and education that is expressed and felt with every treatment.... her assistant Noemi has a wonderful talent to read your body language and somehow knows just when u need a break or where a random spot hurts during treatment and how to alleviate it... they are a wonderful team... my mouth and health feels safe in their hands.

This is the best dentist office I have been to, Dr. Duke is amazing and I have learned some much from her . Her team makes me feel very welcome and well cared for. They have lasers that help your gums heal super fast, I'm always impressed by how knowledgeable and helpful they are. So thankful I found such a wonderful dental home!

They are always current with the latest dental care. They are, additionally, extremely personable and friendly. I feel as if I am being cared for by relatives. Although there can be a great deal of anxiety about dental visits, for me, Dr Duke's has been like massage therapy. With all the work and activity which has been performed in my mouth, I have NEVER experienced ANY physical pain or discomfort. The only request I am ever given is to open my mouth and lean toward whomever is working on me. I, essentially, can just relax and take a nap. When they are finished, my teeth look incredible. I always leave feeling extremely good, emotionally and mentally. Dr Duke does not limit her exceptionally high standards to only dentistry. Her administrative staff achieves the same pinnacle of excellence.

Be aware of billing practices. I was a patient at this office and always made my payments on time. Last November I had work done paid what I was told I owe, today I find a collections on my credit report. Dr. Dukes office didn't notify me once that I had a balance owe. I am 4 minutes away from their office & was there the moment I found out to make the payment. Now my credit is ruined thanks to their billing practices and I have to spend hours faxing/mailing credit agencies to get the collection remove from my credit history. Thanks for nothing Chelsea and Dr. Duke.

Dr. Lauren Duke is the kind of doctor that puts other dentist down and tells the patient that the other dentist they say was bad. This is a doctor that has no respect for her peers. if you want DRAMA and backtalk go to her.

My mom is writing this for me as I am ten years old. I saw Dr. Duke and her staff today for x-rays, cleaning and exam. I was comfortable in her office and enjoyed learning more about how to care for my teeth. She also told me about what to expect as I get older for my teeth as well. I liked her as she was very nice!

I could not be happier with the treatment I received here. She really cares about her patients, she is highly attentive to detail, and is clearly passionate about delivering the best results possible. It was a world of difference compared to my previous dentist. I would highly recommend Dr. Duke!
