Dr. Laurence Schweichler has lived and practiced in Caledonia for over 30 years. Dr. Schweichler and his wife have two children. Dr. Schweichler prides himself in maintaining accreditation and staying up to date with the highest standards in dentistry. He is passionate about providing the best care possible and has over 1000 hours of continuing education. Aside from general dentistry, Dr Schweichler has advanced training in CEREC, Six Month Smiles, Obstructive Sleep Disorders, Dental Implants and Endodontics.
Dr. Schweichler is also committed to his profession and his community. He is the past president of Livingston County Dental Society. Dr. Schweichler also lectures annually at Roberts Wesleyan College on dental sciences and careers. He also speaks annually at St. John Fisher College to students applying to post graduate positions in the health professions. Dr. Schweichler is also member of Rochester Implant Network Study Group and a partner dentist with Elmwood Dental Group the leader in Rochester for dental implant services.
Dr. Schweichler also sponsors for the community local girls youth soccer and cheer leading programs as well as youth baseball. Dr. Schweichler is a supporter of the Sources of Success Middle School after hours mentorship program. He is past president, board member and benefactor of the Figure Skating club of The Finger Lakes. Dr. Schweichler is committed to National Childrens Dental Health Month and has done does outreach speaking to pre-K and 1st grades every year since 1991.

Dr. Schweichler and all the staff at his practice are absolutely the best! My experience with them dealing with an emergent unscheduled visit left me wondering why I ever feared going to a dentist in the first place. This is a 5-STAR practice where you will feel welcomed and will be treated like family, thank you so much for everything!

Dr. Schweichler has been my dentist for 3.5 yrs. never found a dentist that is so caring and pours his heart out to his patients. I then decided to do my 6 month smile treatment with him and this turned out to be the best experience ever. I would choose this practice in 10 eternities. The staff at this practice are sent straight from heaven. Mitchell and Mercy are priceless. The hospitality, care, concern and motivation that these ladies have are second to none.
