Dr. Mazin is originally from New York City, and earned his D.D.S. degree in 1983 from the Georgetown University School of Dentistry. He practiced in Maryland and New York before moving to Pennsylvania, opening a private dental practice in Glenside in 1992. The office moved to the Elkins Park Square complex in May 2006. He has experience in all phases of general dentistry, including cosmetic, preventive, root canals (endodontics), restorative (fillings), and crown and bridge therapy.
In 1997 lasers were first approved for use to treat both hard and soft tissues, making them useful for the preparation of teeth for filling cavities, greatly reducing patient discomfort. Dr. Mazin was the first dentist in this area to use lasers for this purpose, having done so in 1997.
Office Manager April Weston has been with the practice almost since it opened in 1992. Mrs. Weston has over twenty seven years experience in dental office administration and insurance claim submissions. She has a degree in early childhood and elementary education from Temple University and was a special education teacher before becoming a dental office administrator. Mrs. Weston enjoys spending time with her family, dining out, visiting the New Jersey shore and spoiling her cat Tori.

Dr. Mazin has been our family dentist for well more than 10 years and we keep coming back after all this time. Dr. Mazin is exceptionally talented at repairing and maintaining my teeth and always does so in as much of a relaxed and stress-free environment as anyone could ever hope to find at a dentist.

Dr. Mazin is a very good dentist. I have had some extensive dental work done that took about two years to complete. He was always patient and understanding. The work took a long time and there was a lot of waiting in between it all. It was all worth it because I now have a beautiful smile! Thank you Doc. PS. It was all painless.

Dr. Mazin is professional, kind and a soft touch. I actually enjoy going to the dentist. My husband who has had horrible experiences in the past from other dentists, now also enjoys going to the dentist.

I've been a patient with Dr. Mazin for more than two decades and have always been treated promptly and carefully. He's a man of few words but his work is thorough and, dare I say, comfortable, as he uses the latest tools in dentistry which make my visits short and painless. I actually look forward to having my teeth cleaned.
