Hello and welcome to my Dental Practice. I am Dr. Laurence Schwartz, and my staff and I look forward to meeting you. I graduated Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1988 receiving the Herman Jerrow award for excellence in Operative Dentistry. After graduation I returned to Long Island and began my dental career as an associate dentist for several practices, where I honed my dental and surgical skills while learning what kind of dentistry I wanted to practice.
In 1994 I purchased the practice of Dr. Paul Bjorklund in Centerport NY. In 1997 I purchased the practice of Dr. Herbert Schwartz (no relation) and merged the practices at the current location, 181 Main Street Huntington NY.Since 1997 I have continually updated the office with cutting edge technology. I have tried to create a private, relaxed, comfortable setting for my patients. I take great pride and I am honored to care for my patients dental health.
I am an active member of the American Dental Association and the New York State Dental Association. I am also a member and on the Board of Directors for the Suffolk County Dental Society. I serve on the Education Committee at Suffolk County Dental Society. I am also a member of two continuing education dental study clubs as well as a nutritional study club. I have received over 1000 continuing education credits and continue to update my clinical skills and dental knowledge locally and nationally.
I just finished a two year term as President of Dentists for a Better Huntington, which is a nonprofit charity group that I helped form in 1997. Our goal is to give back to the less fortunate in the Huntington community. I currently enjoy living in East Northport NY. I enjoy golf, tennis, hiking, outdoor activities and community service in my time away from dentistry.
Josephine received her B.S. from C.W. Post University. She is married and lives in East Northport with her husband and three children. Josephine enjoys keeping patients smiling and their office visits relaxing. Away from work she likes cooking and movies.
Samantha received her A.S. from Briarcliffe College. She lives in Levittown. Sam takes pride in providing an enjoyable hygiene experience for her patients. She enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Kristen received her B.S. from Rider University. She is married and lives in East Northport with her husband and two sons. Kristen enjoys keeping patients comfortable and feeling welcome. She likes playing soccer and cooking.

Dr. Schwartz is a fantastic dentist in every way. After several other cosmetic dentists insisted that the repairs I needed would cost me $$$$(for what turned out to be unnecessary work) Dr. Schwartz gave me back my smile for $. Ethical, smart, proficient. Signed Love to Smile Now.

Samantha, the hygienist is absolutely wonderful. Thorough, careful, caring and skilled. I would highly recommend her. Dr. Schwartz is great too, but thankfully Samantha's cleanings have kept me out of his chair!

Samantha, the hygienist is absolutely wonderful. Thorough, careful, caring and skilled. I would highly recommend her. Dr. Schwartz is great too, but thankfully Samantha's cleanings have kept me out of his chair!

Have known Larry for many years and he has only gotten better and more professional over the years. He treats you like you are the only one in the room. He is a talented dental technician who treats his patients with great respect. I feel so comfortable and at ease in his care.. I highly recommend him to any one I know!!!!!

If you're shopping for a dentist, you've found him. I had dentist-phobia. Hadn't gone in at least 10 years. But then, I had an emergency. They gave me a last minute Saturday appointment! The staff is friendly, and Dr. Schwartz is warm and welcoming. Most importantly.....Pain free! Dr. Schwartz explained everything he was doing, and treatment was quick and truly painless. This is the place to go. Beyond a doubt, top rating!!
