Donald W. Ray II, DMD, earned his dental degree from the Temple University School of Dentistry after earning his bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Since then, he has undergone extensive training in general and cosmetic dentistry as well as orthodontics. He has attended courses at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies for advanced functional aesthetics, occlusion (your bite) and neuromuscular dentistry, and comprehensive aesthetic reconstruction. He is certified in Invisalign clear aligners but is also highly trained in traditional comprehensive orthodontic treatment. His training in sleep apnea and snoring treatment allows him to offer custom-made oral appliances to help his patients get a better night's sleep, and he has recently trained with the American Academy of Facial Esthetics to administer BOTOX Cosmetic and dermal fillers, which can give you a beautiful frame for your great new smile. Dr. Ray is a member of the American Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
In his spare time, Dr. Ray enjoys remaining very active. Family is paramount, and spending time with them is incredibly fulfilling. He and his wife of 27 years, Susan, travel at every opportunity. He sets time aside every Tuesday to have lunch with his mother. Enjoying the great outdoors is his therapy for life's demands. He does all the lawn care and landscaping at home and the office, and thoroughly enjoys manicuring the grass or meticulously trimming the shrubs. He is very conscientious and detail-oriented in his personal and professional life. Most importantly, he greatly appreciates the trust and confidence given to him by his patients for his knowledge and clinical abilities

First time patient at this office as my previous dentist retired. I was a bit apprehensive as I really liked my old dentist. I have no complaints as everyone was friendly and seemed open to discussing any concerns or issues. I felt comfortable and I'm hopeful that future visits will be just as good.

This was my first time being seen at this office. I decided to try this dental practice after my daughter started going here this past year and had nothing but wonderful things to say about all of her experiences. Upon walking in the door, the reception staff was extremely pleasant and quickly responded to me. Becky was wonderful and explained everything thoroughly. She even pointed things out very clearly on the X-rays. I would recommend this office to anyone in need of dental care.

Dr. Ray and his amazing staff are so understanding and kind when it comes to my near paralyzing fear of going to the dentist. They talk softly and calmly to me. They always let me know what they are doing before they do it. They are always asking if I am doing all right and if I need a break. Before Covid, Dr. Ray and I had made some nice progress on working on my phobia. I am very grateful for him and his staff.

Staff was very helpful and friendly and Dr. Ray was super nice and thorough as well. They also use all the new technology and do an oral cancer screening, which is something I don't think I've ever had. So glad my friend referred me!

I have been a patient at Laurelview Dentistry for at 15 years. I have always been treated very well. Dr. Ray and his staff are friendly and very efficient. My appointment at laurelview dentistry went very well today. The staff was pleasant and of course, the hygienist and Dr. Ray were very thorough.

I had a scheduled cleaning for Monday. Had a crown come out the previous Monday. Called the office the Wednesday when my chopper came out just to let them know so I could schedule for that. I was told to bring it with me to see if Dr. Ray could get it back in!!!! Well, I brought it and I felt really bad abouthat. I know how Mondays are. Anyhow, eventhough the office was short staffed, they took care of #19!!! It's back at home thanks to my Friends at Laurelview Dentistry!!!
