Johanna Lopez, DDS graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry and attended the Mountain Area Health Care Education Center general practice residency program. She has practiced dentistry in Western NC and is proud to call Laurel Park Dentistry her dental home. Dr. Lopez enjoys spending time with her husband, Alex, playing tennis and walking her dog, Leo
Alex Jiamachello (Dr. J) Was born in Chapel Hill, NC and grew up in Shelby, NC. He went to NC State University where he majored in Biological Sciences, and minored in Genetics. He then worked for a couple years as a dental assistant prior to completing a year of masters of public health at East Carolina University. He was accepted into the UNC dental program and achieved his DDS degree in 2014. He lives in Arden, NC with his wife and coworker, Johanna Lopez, DDS and their dog, Leo

My wife and recently retired and moved to Hendersonville. We are so happy to have found Laurel Park Dentistry! Our first visit was awesome, the staff friendly and professional. Thorough exam, cleaning and preventative maintenance. We have the great care we were looking for at Laurel Park Dentistry!

After 20 years of my dentist being in Asheville, I switched to Laurel Park Dentistry in August. Thank goodness I picked a winner. Could not be happier to have found such a group here in Hendersonville!

Before I'd even had my 'new patient' appt, I broke two front teeth, leaving razor blades for my tongue. I called LPD. They were considerate, prompt, thorough, managing to fit me in with Dr. J that same day, using up his lunch hour. SO THOROUGH and the front desk people are top-notch, too. I was wary of the prices (new place, new town, same day care ...) but the bill was VERY fair.

Very pleased with DR. Lopez and staff , they are courteous and friendly , everyone smiles and makes you feel welcome and appreciated . Our family have been going to Laurel Park Dentistry for years and have never been disappointed . The dental cleanings and exams are very thorough and any recommendations for further treatment is well explained . We have complete trust in Laurel Park Dentistry and feel they are fairly priced . Laurel Park Denistry is amazing!! I truly appreciate everyone there being so supportive. I travel with my job, and Laurel Park has always been supportive and flexible. Add to that, they have been amazing with my dental procedures. Always checking with me to make sure that I am ok. I recommend Laurel Park Dentistry to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I broke my jaw over 10 years ago and let my teeth go after 2 jaw surgeries. After finally making an appointment with Dr Lopez and her staff, they gave me the encouragement to have my smile repaired and the confidence to finally smile once again. I literally cried when they finished. All the time, they all cheered me on. I cannot be happier with not only Dr Lopez and her assistant, Sammy, but Jennifer and everyone one else to fight for insurance plans that are affordable. GO TEAM LOPEZ!!

Great staff...& Dr. Lopez is wonderful. Appointments are fast paced (which gets you out of the chair in record time)! Office is clean & organized. Would recommend them highly !!

Very nice hygienists and dentists. They are efficient but also take their time and do a great job. The dentists are honest, and I never feel like they are pushing unnecessary procedures. Love coming here!

Absolutely love this office! Every staff member I have interacted with is kind and welcoming. I recommend this practice to everyone, especially those who are hesitant to go to the dentist. They listen to all my concerns and are never rough. Like many others I have been traumatized by dental work in the past, but Dr. Lopez has helped to take my fears of going to the dentist away without judgment.
