Dr. Lyn was born on the beautiful island of Jamaica W.I. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology at Benedict College, SC where he was mentored and conducted research in genetic oncology under prominent professors at University Of South Carolina. He graduated with a 4.0 GPA, and was accepted on a full academic scholarship to the University Of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where he completed his Doctorate in Dental Medicine.
In recognition of his natural abilities in the surgical arts, he was awarded the prodigious Topazian Award, an honor given to only a select few historically whom have displayed an uncanny sense of community service. Following dental school his interest in oral and maxillofacial surgery led him to the competitive Howard University Hospital Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department, Washington DC where he completed his training at one of DCs most active Level 1 trauma centers.
Whilst in residency, Dr. Lyns surgical cases traversed the gamut from facial trauma, dentoalveolar, TMJ, oncology, esthetic and orthognathic surgery; the latter facilitated under the tutelage of world-renowned craniofacial surgeon Dr. Jeffery Posnick, whom has established a practice with a global referral base. Culminating his experiences with understanding the mechanisms and reconstructive techniques employed to treat the most severe craniofacial and trauma patients, Dr. Lyn authored several scientific studies during his time as Chief Resident at Howard University Hospital, in the hopes that his knowledge could be shared with the next generation of surgeons.
Dr. Lyn obtained his board certification in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at first eligibility, and forged ahead with his commitment to lifelong learning; most recently he has received training in advanced temporomandibular joint surgery available to only a select handful of oral surgeons worldwide.
In the previous years his surgery cases for complicated wisdom tooth removal was close to 1,000 under general anesthesia/intravenous sedation, with over 450 dental implants placed in conjunction with prominent prosthodontist, periodontists and general dentists in complex full mouth rehabilitation cases often requiring extensive bone grafting. After hours, he still maintains privileges at his former training institution where he trains residents at Howard University hospital and oversees surgical repair of complex maxillofacial trauma, denotalveolar surgery and reconstructive jaw surgery.
He has contributed countless hours to local and international charity events such as CT Mission of Mercy and dental clinics in his home land of Jamaica. Dr. Lyn looks forward to continue his support of the local dental community and its patients with the same care and understanding he has cultivated throughout the years.

Dr. Kim and her staff are very professional and polite. I had an Implant done and Dr. Kim explained the procedure from start to finish at the first visit, she also gave clear instructions on what to do after my procedure. I would recommend any one to Dr. Kim for their dental needs.

Unprofessional service, wait time was over an hour. I got to the back, xray and Dr acknowledged work that needed to be done since they received my referral. I go to the next room preparing for procedure,. The finance part comes in wanting $2579.00 today before my procedure. I asked about payment plan, they said they don't have one. I asked prior to my visit how much would I need, they would not give me an amount or estimate. Who carries cash or how can you plan if you don't know how much you need. Horrible service and waisted time.

The staff and dentist are very friendly and professional. Very clean atmosphere and the staff worked with me and scheduled me a same day appointment for a tooth extraction. I will always come here for my dental concerns!

The best experience I've had with a wisdom tooth removal i have very bad anxiety when it comes to the dentist and they made sure i was very comfortable even though i was crying like a baby they was so patient with me and i didn't feel a thing even the next day would highly recommend going to this center

I had the pleasure of working with Dr Kim and staff for my wisdom teeth removal. I had to get all 4 teeth at once, so I was instinctively nervous. The staff was extremely patient with me and answered all my questions. Everyone I encountered in the office was friendly with a nice sense of humor, which really put me at ease through my whole process. They gave me clear instructions on what to do before and after my procedure, and had diligent follow up. I will recommended anyone to Dr Kim in the future, and if she didn't take all my wisdom teeth, I'd go back to her myself!

Thank You Dr Kim inside Staff and front desk Staff for being Amazing, Professional, Respectful and Understanding. My last extraction I did was Quick, easy and painless. I only felt a little discomfort that same evening and it all went away the next day. I recently got my implant done 9/2021. I can truly say Dr Kim your hands are bless. I only felt same day discomfort, other than that I feel amazing. I was soooo nervous, but now I see there was nothing to be nervous about. Thank You all so much for being the BEST TEAM EVER!!!

I had surgery with Dr Lee, it was very difficult and detailed. Dr Lee is very patient, professional and had excellent bed side manner. The medical staff and office staff are professionals and comforting. I highly recommend this office for oral dental needs.

Dr. Kim is amazing ! Before my oral surgery for my wisdom tooth I had explained to her my fear and anxiety of pain that comes with surgeries. As well as my past experiences. She assured me everything would be fine and she was right! I was sedated and woke up and did not feel any pain, only the recovery of coarse. I will definitely recommend doctor Kim and her entire staff ,thank you again !!
