Dr. Shera Newcomb has been a part of Laurel Dental Care since 2011 and has been practicing dentistry since 2005. She earned both her undergraduate degree in Biology and dental degree at the University of Kentucky.
Dr. Newcomb enjoys working with all members of the family and always puts patient care and comfort as her top priority. Dr. Newcomb strives to maintain education in the latest dental advancements and procedures so that she can provide her patients with the best care possible. She annually attends continuing education courses in implant, cosmetic, periodontal, and restorative dentistry so that the most current options are available to her patients. Dr. Newcomb prides herself on making your visit a comfortable experience and will do her best to make sure your dental needs are taken care of painlessly.
Dr. Newcomb is originally from Manchester, Kentucky and currently lives in Corbin. She is married to Dr. John Newcomb and has two daughters, Laura and Harper. She is a member of the Southeast Dental Society and serves on the Board of Directors for the Whitley County Health Department. In her spare time, Dr. Newcomb enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
