As a general dentist, Dr. Laura Socias first seeks to understand the goals of her patients. She then works with the patients to design and implement a treatment plan that helps them achieve their goals.
Dr. Socias completed her undergraduate studies at Marquette University. She then went on to continue her education at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry where she earned her DDS. Dr. Socias is a member of the Wisconsin Dental Association, International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, and the Hispanic Dental Association.
A resident of Brookfield, Dr. Socias is also very active in various service organizations and has served as a student volunteer for faculty led research missions to impoverished areas of the Dominican Republic. She is fluent in spanish and enjoys golf, reading books, painting, swimming, and participating in outdoor activities with her family in her spare time.

Just, no. Bullies and Narcissists come in all shapes, forms and sizes. If you're into gaslighting, by all means, give her a go. Somehow she manages to hire really pleasant staff, so if you're lucky enough to just get to work with them, you'll be just fine. Be warned that Dr. Socias doesn't run a very professional business. You'll deal with constant requests to change your appointments, very limited office hours, you won't be able to contact her any other way and she'll scold you if you dare to leave a message "after hours" because you're not able to call during her own limited office hours. She starts off really nice and caring, but you realize after a while that she doesn't really listen to you. She sort of "hears" your question and then just talks over you with her own version of what she thinks you're asking about. If ask questions, she will get testy with you (what narcissists do) but won't actually give you a straight answer. She scolded me several times in front of her staff and patients for making a noise in my throat when being injected by a needle. I voluntarily left her office and care for good and she had the audacity to write me a "I'm withdrawing from being your dentist" letter, after giving me the run around with my refund. Just seriously, no. You deserve better.

From the day I walked in several years ago, I KNEW I had found my dentist. From the courteous friendly staff to the hygienists and Dr. Socias, I am VERY IMPRESSED. Have had fillings, caps, annual cleanings and all were done pain free and done right. Everyone there is friendly and professional. I'm so glad I found this dentist! Not to mention convenient central location and easy parking. I'm never going anywhere else!

Great office, awesome atmosphere and quick and to the point yet personable. I think I've found a Dentist for life. You'll schedule an appointment and never look back.

Let me tell you, I was a hot mess when I arrived...Dr. Laura made made feel comfortable even though I was embarassed and anxious. I am grateful to have found such a knowledgeable and caring dentist. She treats us like family!
