Outside ofmy naturally minded dental practice I enjoy spendinglots of time with my husband and kids. At heart I am an artist andenjoy painting, collaging, interior design, photography, mixed media, and most explorations in the world of art.I am also constantlystriving and loving to learnmore about the inner workings of our bodies, and how this impacts the delivery of care to my patients. I take an enormous amount of continuing education courses yearly in the areas of functional medicine, biological dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, laser dentistry, airway-centered dentistry, ALF and craniosacral therapy, nutrition, homeopathy, spiritual and energetic health, and many other adjunctive therapies. When not out cultivating knowledge, I thrive being in nature as a hiker and also an avid gardener. I do love making the world a greener place!

Dr. Laura Lawson graduated from University of Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 2002. She also holds a BS in Microbiology with emphasis in Genetics from University of California, Santa Barbara. She grew up in Bucharest, Romania and moved to the US during her teen years to attend high school inthe beautiful East Bay.

Dr. Macias was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, where he obtained his dental degree in 2001. He joined our practice in January of 2013 and values Dr. Lawson's whole-body approach to dental health.He loves helping others by improving their health through dentistry. Although you might not guess it, growing up Dr. Macias was afraid of going to the dentist! As a career goal he vouched to provide the most gentle and kind care to all his patients.
Caroline has enjoyed working in the dental field for the past 20 years and has been a hygienist in Dr. Lawson's office since 2010. She was drawn to this practice by Dr. Lawson's idea of what patient care is about: looking at the overall health and well-being of each person and providing excellent and comprehensive quality service.
She loves meeting new patients and educating them about their oral health. Her compassion and care put the most apprehensive patients at ease. She also values her 'dental family', feeling that her fellow team members are the best at striving for excellence.
Patricia has been an RDA for 20 years and has been working side by side with Dr. Lawson since 2009. She was introduced to the world of dentistry at a young age through her father, who is also a dentist. She likes working at the Family and Cosmetic Natural Dentistry practice especially because of thefocus and care Dr. Lawson places on her patients'overall health.
Outside of work, Patricia enjoys spending time with her kids. She also loves baking and cooking, and more recently has been enjoying the health adventure of paleo friendly cooking and baking. Healthy and delicious, homemade, and organic meals are her passion.Patricia is originally from Baja, Mexico.
Bianca received her Dental Assisting education from the Carrington College of California. Bianca loves to learn, pursuing many areas of knowledge in the health and well beingfields. She is currently studying to become a dental hygienist andis very excited to help patients achieve their best individual oral health.She was drawn to dentistry from an early age and really enjoys providing dental care for all patients. She continues to expand her dental knowledge and infuses the office with her happy attitude and friendly manner.
Andrea has been in dentistry since 2004 when she began working as a Dental Assistant. She immediately knew she loved helping people meet their oral health care needs. She has tremendous knowledge about insurance anddental treatments, and her expertise is in providing comprehensive and knowledgable care bybridging oral health and financial guidance.
Jessie received her holistic nutrition certification through Bauman College and her M.S. in Integrative Health and Clinical Nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health. Sheis also certified in clinical homeopathy.She loves sharing her passion for nutrition and and enjoys working with patients to address health concerns and enhance their quality of life with gentle, sustainable changes.
When not working, Jessie enjoys being a full-time mama to her sweet toddler and hanging out with her husband and family. She also enjoys reading, exercising, cooking, and especially learning there is always a new project to tackle, new information to absorb, or a new language to explore!
