Dr. Laura McAuley is the foundation of this practice. Being a daughter of a dentist, she has been a lifelong champion of preventative dentistry. Her love of children and her passion for dentistry is the driving force that powers her desire to create a lifetime of healthy habits for the children she meets. Although some call her 'Dr. McAuley', many of her little friends call her 'Dr. Laura'.

Dr. McAuley went to college at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill (Go Tarheels!), where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Science Education. During her two years of teaching high school biology, physics, and anatomy in Winston-Salem, NC, she not only spent her extra time as a cheerleading coach but also, met the love of her life, Earle.

Although Dr. McAuley had a love for teaching, she once again became a student to pursue dentistry at the UNC School of Dentistry. During her time in dental school, she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (a dental honor fraternity), as well as, served in the community by helping manage the Student Health Action Coalition (SHAC) clinic to provide free dental services to local, underserved individuals and was the 'prosecutor' for the student run dental honor board. After dental school, Dr. McAuley completed her pediatric residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. This is also where her oldest daughter was born.

In 2000, Dr. McAuley and her family moved to beautiful Pensacola, where she could enjoy the beach life and the company of her extended family. Since moving back to Florida, she has had three more children and dedicated her life to supporting not only her children but children everywhere. Dr. McAuley is an active member of First United Methodist Church and is involved in many community events such as Give Kids A Smile and Missions of Mercy. She has been on several dental mission trips to serve in Peru & Costa Rica and will be in charge of leading the dental mission team on future mission trips.

Dr. McAuley is an avid runner and has competed in the last three double bridge runs (15k). She can easily be found at the soccer fields--three of her children play, and she has been a part of the Northeast YMCA Soccer Program the last three years by sponsoring their uniforms.

Incorporating her love of teaching, her love of children, and a deep commitment to serving the Pensacola community, Dr. McAuley and her team strive to raise children's dental health awareness. Her primary focus is to educate both patient and parents on the importance of early dental care while providing the best patient care possible to every child she encounters.

Mrs. Brandy has been with our team since October 2010 and is the fun, friendly voice that helps all of our parents with their insurance and financial needs. She shares her contagious laugh with everyone she meets, and you won't want to miss her amazing smile as you are leaving our office. Not only does Mrs. Brandy love spending time with her husband and daughter, but she also takes pleasure in the simple things, such as enjoying the beach life and expressing her creativity with crafting.

Mrs. Kate is our warm and welcoming smile you see at our front desk. She was a previous team member, and we couldn't resist not having her at our office. You will find Mrs. Kate helping in the office in many ways - if she's not running the front desk area, you can also find her helping our friends in one of our colorful rooms. She is the lucky person who gets to welcome our friends when they first arrive and see them go when they check-out. In her free time, she spends memorable moments with her family enjoying the Florida sun at the pool or the beach...We are excited that she is here with us!

Ms. Debbie is our comforting ray of sunshine! She takes care of your children 's smiles in the PurpleRoom and sees little babies from a few months old up to 5 years old! She has been a Dental Assistant with our team since April 2007, and she feels that the best thing about her job is being able to teach children the importance of good oral health in a fun, encouraging environment! You will never see Ms. Debbie without a big smile on her face - thats why our team calls her 'Little Miss Sunshine!' When Ms. Debbie is not playing with her little friends at the office, she is enjoying quality time with her precious grandchildren.

Miss Lily is our fun, loving treatment coordinator, who assists Dr. McAuley for all the children's dental needs. You can usually hear her reading one of her favorite books,The Lorax, in the Blue Room. She is originally from Seattle but couldn't stay away from Pensacola's beautiful beaches, so that's where she spends her weekends. Miss Lily is fond of art and enjoys being creative. She also takes pleasure in body surfing, hiking, and traveling. Her goal is to one day travel outside of the U.S. and explore the world.

Although Mrs. Donna has been working at our office for a few years, she has over 20 years of dental experience. Her experience mostly has been with children and special needs, which she loves. She takes care of our older kids in one of our Orange Rooms and gets them ready for when they 'graduate' to see an adult dentist. Aside from hygiene, Mrs. Donna is the go-to person for school visits, as well as, the coordinator for our O.R. cases. When not in the office, Mrs. Donna spends quality time with her family lounging by the pool, going to football games (Geaux Saints & Gators!), enjoying her kids ' sports & music activities, and simply relaxing with family & friends!

Mrs. Tami is a wife and mother of three. She loves to spend time with her family in the Florida sunshine. She enjoys learning about health and fitness and has a love for eating healthy & feeling great! She takes care of our children ages 5-9. Mrs. Tami loves working with children and finds joy in educating & encouraging her patients to achieve a healthy smile.

Absolutely amazing practice. Dr McAuley and Lily were amazing. You can tell they care and enjoy their jobs. I couldn't have asked for better care for our newborn getting a tongue tie procedure. I would recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely amazing doctor and staff! They have so much kindness and grace. My daughter was nervous but with their kindness and patience made my daughter super comfortable and she was able to do the x-ray with no problem. She was so proud of herself for being a big girl at 6. Great check up and cleaning. I am so grateful. Thank you so much.

Great Dentist...Great Staff! They really have a way with making children feel comfortable about being at the dentist. My toddler is extremely no a fan of doctors yet, while visiting Dr. McAuley office for her first dental appointment, my toddler was very happy and interactive with her cleaning! She was so excited to be there and talked about it for hours after leaving.

We were welcomed with a warm smile, the environment was peaceful, the establishment was extremely clean, the staff was kind and understanding to the needs of my grandson. They were gentle and were able to get him to do something he never did before, without completely freaking out.

Absolutely awful! Scheduled an appointment for my son 2 months out and the day of the appointment I got a call from the office saying the hygienist was out today and they would need to reschedule and the soonest appointment was 4 months away even though my son has chipping and discoloration on his molars. They do not care about their patients and have awful business hours. Better off going to the health department. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

One of the best experiences we have with our children. The office is clean and the staff are always nice and helpful! I like how they have toys for children to play with while waiting, not only does it give them something forward to look to but personally feel it helps ease their nervousness. Love how bright and vibrant the building is, it's welcoming and just cheers everyone up! The patience everyone has here is phenomenal. Most places make you feel like your just another person on the list and they try to get you out of the way for the next person, not this place!

From the waiting room to the moment we walked out the door, my 3 year old daughter was having fun! I honestly had no idea the dentist could be this fun. The staff not only knew how to make her comfortable, but they allowed her to "play dentist" with her baby. She is now so excited to brush her teeth and keep them beautiful so that they will flatter her again the next time we go.

I took my children there when they were much younger. One of my daughter's was TERRIFED during her procedure, but managed to finish it. She did not even get an opportunity to get a sticker, or a prize out of the treasure box, and the front desk at that time were absolutely HORID, and explained to a 6 year old that she did not get anything because she was not good during the procedure. I can imagine that all sorts of children are scared and do not like dentist, and this would be one reason why. Fast forward to a few days later, I had to call the emergency line on a Sunday because she was still numb and drooling from the procedure. They said this was normal....NEVER AGAIN! I got my kids to another dentist asap, and never looked back at that practice again. Anyway, I hope that this helps at least 1 parent, so that their child will not have to go through all the trauma, and rudeness from the front desk staff.

My experience with Dr. McAuley and her staff was amazing for our first visit. This visit was my daughter's first time having x-rays but Ms.Debbie made it so pleasant for her. My daughter is a little shy and takes a moment to warm up to new people, but with Ms. Debbie, I did not have to encourage her in her actions. Ms. Debbie was great with her, getting her first x-rays done in one shot. Ms. Debbie carefully explained to my daughter (give her a sense of autonomy) everything she was going to use to clean her teeth with a small demonstrations of how they work. Once Dr. McAuley entered the room she continued with implementing autonomy and I would fill in the missing information. The point was in my opinion was to let the child know they matter and have a voice. It also takes their minds off been scared. During the exam my daughter laughed and enjoyed every step of the process. I highly recommend having your child seen by this staff. The best part for me was being seen on time, information was explained and questions answered, detailed work was done, and the process was swift. The best part for my daughter was receiving a stick, having her name on the board of no cavities, and getting mouthwash. You know it's the small things for the kids lol.

Loved the calming environment of the waiting room, especially with the Christian music. The staff was incredibly helpful, kind, and welcoming. The back rooms were very private. My 1 1/2 year old daughter did extremely well because of the patience of the dental hygienist Debbie, love her! Best pricing in town over the long haul, and they take Medicaid. Would absolutely recommend 10/10.

Everyone at the office was very kind and patient! This was my little girl's first dentist visit and we left very happy! I have quite a strong willed, free spirited girl who beats to her own drum and wanted to run all around and check every cool thing out. Well they were so patient with her; all the while this momma was cringing because I could not get her to listen to any of us! They definitely made the situation a lot less stressful and were so kind to my girl! Thanks Ready Set Smile!

We are grateful for Dr. Laura and the professional, caring, and comprehensive team here. There are many positive qualities about this dental office; However, I want to specifically point out that they are always able to comfort and preoccupy my nine year old, regardless of the procedure for the visit (like pulling of teeth, even)! Very clean, consistent and just lovely . I give them two UP!
