Dr. ODowd was raised in rural northwest Ohio and studied biology at the University of Toledo where she graduated cum laude. She then received her DDS degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2001 (go Bucks!). After practicing in several offices, she moved to Lancaster County to care for the underserved population there for six years at Welsh Mountain Health Centers. She was the dental director there for one and a half years.
Dr. ODowd performs all aspects of general dentistry. She enjoys caring for children, the aging population, and everyone in between. For some patients, going to the dentist can be stressful, and Dr. ODowd is sensitive to that. Caring for each patient as an individual is very important to her.
When she isnt at the office, she is with those whom she loves the most her three children. Reading, going on family outings, and volunteering at various church functions are how she spends her free time. She has lived in the Lancaster area for almost nine years and counting!
I was born in Berks County and now reside in York County. I received my Associates Degree in Dental Assisting in 2012 at BTI and graduated with honors. During my externship at BTI, I was hired as a Dental Assistant and shortly after became lead assistant and clinical manager.
After a few years of assisting, I decided I wanted to learn all parts of a dental office. I then transitioned into front desk coordinator with my ultimate goal being to manage a dental office. I feel that my diverse background with my dental experience has shaped me into a great fit as the Office Manager here at Lasting Smiles. I pride myself in leading an office where our staff and patients feel comfortable and safe.
I was raised in South Florida and moved to Pennsylvania to attend Penn State University. After graduating with a Psychology degree, I worked a few years in the field before deciding to return to school and make a career change. I received a Dental Hygiene degree from Harrisburg Area Community College, and graduated as valedictorian of my class. I am committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate dental treatment and oral health education to every patient.
In my spare time I enjoy traveling the world and visiting exotic places such as Morocco, Nepal, Thailand, and Santorini. When Im not off on an adventure I enjoy spending quality time with my husband Brandon, and three beautiful children, Aurora, Carter, and Cassandra, and our two Ragdoll Cats, Bubby and Cloud.
Hailie was born and raised in Berks County. She has always had a passion for teeth and decided to go to school to be a dental assistant. She graduated from BCTC in 2019. Hailie loves being able to meet new people every day, as well as being able to help them. During Hailies free time, she loves spending time with her friends and family.
Vivian has been in the dental field for almost 10 years. She studied Dental Assisting at BTI where she received her Associates Degree. Her hands on training began in Anchorage, Alaska. She then later moved back to Pennsylvania. Vivian enjoys traveling and spending time with her son.

My recent cleaning with HEATHER was absolutely amazing! I have never had someone spend the time with me and do such a thorough job! Kimmy's customer service is great as well! Overall the staff is readily available and always seems to care! Much appreciation!

I called about my husband's tooth he was in a lot of pain and needed it pulled another dentist said oral surgery and we were unsure . So I called may 4th at noon and thank God they fit him in may 5th at 11:50 and by 1:00 he was home tooth out and felling great thank you so.much for helping him and making him feel comfortable I would recommend you to anyone with dental needs thank you we will be back for future needs

Very professional and comfortable office. I had to have some work done that I was nervous about and Dr O'Dowd & Erica were caring and explained everything being done. My cleanings are always great and Kimmie is always welcoming, helpful & friendly at the front desk. Would highly recommend to all my friends.

Lasting Lititz was recommended by a friend and I'm so glad it was. The staff is knowledgeable and so kind. Dr O'Dowd got my family back on track. All of the work we have had done has been well done. We are healthier for it. Would highly recommend this practice!

We recently moved to Lititz from out of state. Lasting Smiles of Lititz was conveniently located for us, and we've been very pleased with their service. Front Desk admin is always sweet and helpful. Our dental hygienist, Maureen, is personable, accommodating, and fast (I don't like being at the dentist for long). Dr. O'Dowd kind, conscientious and thorough, taking into account a patient's specific needs. I am usually not a fan of the dentist, but they make the appointments comfortable and painless. They were also able to check on my 4 year old son's teeth. I was nervous that he wouldn't allow anyone near him, but Maureen and Dr. O'Dowd were so sweet and helpful. My son did great! I was very pleased with the service and will continue to use them in the future. I would also recommend if you are looking for a dentist.

Very friendly and professional-they're currently helping me with my overbite and crossbite with aligners and the process is going so smoothly! Very happy with how its turning out. The staff is awesome, definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist :)

I can't stand when plaque and tartar begin to build up on my teeth. At my last prophy, Heather did such a thorough job that my teeth and gum line felt really clean. She is friendly and a great hygenist. I also had to have a couple of fillings (which I find really stressful) but Dr. O'Dowd ensured that I felt comfortable through the entire ordeal (yes - I think of it as an ordeal!) I would highly recommend the Lasting Smiles of Lititz practice.
