Being a dentist requires me to be a good listener. I need to understand what each patient wants from dentistry and to hear their concerns, as well. These initial conversations are important, as we build trust and communication. I want patients to know I always have their best interests at heart and place their physical and emotional wellbeing at the forefront of all I do.
Rather than dictating certain treatments, I walk my patient through their diagnosis and discuss the options for addressing their situation. Together, we make a decision on how to proceed, and then we execute that plan as partners. This teamwork furthers the trust between us and builds a wonderful rapport.
I completed my dental degreeand received a Master's degree in Periodontics before I moved to Florida and attended the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami.
Continuing education along with studying advancements in dental specialties, is crucial to providing patients with the best care. I regularly participate in study groups, and attend conferences, lectures, and seminars. By learning from the leading practitioners and researchers in dentistry, I stay current on advanced techniques and technologies and incorporate the best into the practice.

Im a Florida native, born and raised in Orlando. In 1989, I got married and moved to Clermont, where I knew I wanted to raise my family. After more than 30 years here, I still enjoy working and living in this great community.

Real Nice People. Apparently having an infection in your gums isn't good enough to for us to squeeze you in, go pound salt. That's basically what I was told. Guess I have to go to the ER. Update 11/2/22: From your reply what I understand is that you prioritize cleanings over an actual dental emergency. Thanks for the response 6 months later, you guys are on fire over there...

Dr. Haidar is one of the most gentle and thorough dentists I have ever had and I've lived in several States and am in my 60's; therefore, have experienced many. He is very proactive and did an amazing job with a damaged implant. From the time you enter the office, the front staff such as Shelli, and the back office support, such as Juliana and Sherry who is the hygienist, everyone ensures that all of your needs and comforts are met. This office truly cares about their patient's.

Big difference between my experience at Lasting Smiles and a Chain-dentist I previously saw. Lasting Smiles gave me straight forward care without trying to upsell extraneous procedures. It was a refreshing change.

Friendly staff, amazing customer service. and the best care you'll receive. They won't make you feel bad for what ever condition your teeth is in. Dr. Haidar is the best as well. If you are hesitant on visiting the dentist due to the fear of being judged, come here you won't regret coming here they will take care of you and make you feel amazing.

I broke my front tooth. I wanted it repaired badly. They fit me in same day. The doctor was very kind and gentle. He explained everything he was doing. The staff was professional, friendly. He worked out a great payment plan. I will continue to go here. I highly recommend Lasting Smiles Dental. 10 Stars

I always being afraid to the dentist until I came to Lasting Smiles. Doctor Nadim is super gentle and explain everything in details. Dr. Haidar and his staff is the best! I had to get implants. Dr. Haida explained the process to me and even helped me to get financing, which I didn't need in the end. I never have to wait once I arrive for my appointment. He welcomed any questions I had and if his answer wasn't clear he would go over again until I understood. I highly recommend him especially if you need implants. My mouth is looking great! I'm a happy smiley patient.

This is an amazing place. The dentist is so professional n always smiling. The atmosphere has a positive vibe. The staff is so friendly and always smiling. They are so caring for the patients. I LOVE Dr. Haidar he's absolutely amazing, very caring and professional. I've been his patient for over 3 years and every time I go in I get the same service, very consistent team.
