Outside of his practice, Dr. Laskas passion is in Roatan, Honduros, where he volunteers at the Clinica Esperanza. He has helped to advance the dental care for the many poor people there by having new equipment donated, educating the staff and holding benefits to help this island clinic reach out to as many people there as it can. Dr. Laska goes there every year to volunteer his time and talents.
While dentists are conservative by nature, Dr. Eckhart continually incorporates new methods of treatment into her practice. By incorporating the latest in dental technology, she offers her patients the best treatments available.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Eckhart is blessed with a wonderful husband of 34 years and two adult children, both graduates of the University of Wisconsin. She spends much of her free time with her family and frequently volunteers for Community Projects for Seniors.

I have been going to Dentists for a long time, I LOVE this Dentist group. the staff is amazing, welcoming and friendly. the technology for their crown production is Star Trek replicater level stuff! They take a digital 3D image of the tooth, and a machine creates the crown on the spot to the exact dimensions of the 3d model. the tooth fits perfectly, the fit with the other teeth is perfect and it all takes about an hour. No temporary crown, no mis-alignment and the bond with the new crown is so perfect as to defy nature. Friendly, knowledgeable and technically advanced. this is now my Dentist for my whole family

There's no other dental office I'd rather be going to. You won't find more caring, friendly &/or understanding dentists (& hygienists!) anywhere else. **I also can't speak highly enough of the receptionists here either. They seriously go above AND beyond for patients. So appreciative of them!!

There's no other dental office I'd rather be going to. You won't find more caring, friendly &/or understanding dentists (& hygienists!) anywhere else. **I also can't speak highly enough of the receptionists here either. They seriously go above AND beyond for patients. So appreciative of them!!

Dr Laska replaced a broken crown that was put on by my previous dentist, and has been a thorn in my side for the last year and a half, and finally broke. I had hoped a new crown would be ok, but after having the old crown adjusted repeatedly, my hopes were never for anything better than ok for a new one. Well, the new crown is perfect, really perfect. It was perfect when I walked out of the office - the bite is perfect and I didn't and don't have any discomfort. Dr Laska is caring and an expert in his field. His office staff are wonderful. I also had a fear of dentists before, but I'm totally comfortable here.

Had a very positive experience as a new patient! Terri, my hygienist, was kind, cool and knowledgeable. Front desk was welcoming and was even able to get me in next day for a follow up visit. Dana and Dr. Beard did a quick and successful binding procedure (small chip repair) with ease. Meanwhile, Dr. Laska is on a mission trip in Cetral America...great cause With an updated office environment to boot this place is tops in Hales Corners.

Laska Dental is absolutely AMAZING! Today my crown broke apart while eating, and pretty sure I swallowed most of it. Dr. Mike Laska is still in Roatan doing volunteer dental work at Clinic Esperanza but his incredible staff was able to get me in immediately! New crown in less than 2 hours from the time I called. Dr. Beard and Brittany did a fantastic job and saved my Good Friday! If anyone needs a great dental clinic, this is the one!!!

I have gone to Laska dental for ten years. I have had mixed experiences. The office is so beautiful and trendy. I had a crown put on in the past, and it didn't last long. However, the office was wonderful about fixing it, and eventually gave me a new one. When my youngest was an infant, I brought her to a quick appointment. It was supposed to be a fast check. She was asleep in the car seat, and they asked me to put her in a small room alone while they did my teeth. It really rubbed me the wrong way, and I sat through the exam grateful to have glasses on to hide my tears. I recently had to cancel an appointment (I'm a teacher and had a parent meeting night that fell on the same day). My appointment was on a Monday, and I canceled right when I noticed the conflict. However, since I didn't give 24 hours notice, I was charged $30. I was crushed. When I explained that I was a teacher with another conflict, I was told "sorry". I understand the policy, but was hoping that as a client for so long an exception would be made. I am a mother of (almost) four kids, and I need an office that is a bit more flexible with busy families. I caution others using their service to be aware of the policy. I'm disappointed that Laska did not help out even a long standing patient. We will be searching for a new dentist that maybe is a bit more flexible and understanding, and one that is more accommodating to busy families.
