As a child, Dr. Todd McCracken was traumatized by a painful pediatric dentistry experience. Years later, while examining his options for employment after college, he decided to combine his traumatic experience, empathetic nature, and passion for art and medicine and decided to become a board-certified Laser Dentistry Physician. In 1997, Dr.McCracken opened his first private practice and immediately began implementing the gentle, non-invasive, state-of-the-art, technology-focused dentistry services that he had always dreamt about. While Dr. McCrackens focus is on gentle restorative and cosmetic dentistry, he is also a board-certified Homeopathic and Pediatric Dentist and is qualified to perform oral surgery, restore dental implants, treat sleep apnea, and TMD/TMJ disorders.
Dr. McCracken received his doctorate in dental surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX. Determined to extend his training, he studied and later received the prestigious accomplishment of Master from the Academy of Laser Dentistry. Over the last 23 plus years, Dr. Todd McCrackenhas performed more than 2000 laser assisted dental procedures earning him the esteemed title of Certified Trainer for Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedures, or LANAP. Dr. Todd McCracken is ever-focused on keeping up-to-speed with modern laser and traditional dentistry advances and prides himself on remaining among the most technologically advanced physicians in all of Denton and the surrounding counties.
As a dedicated, board-certified Doctor of Dental Surgery, Dr. Todd McCracken has been invited to and participated in a number of prestigious events. After becoming a member of the Academy of General Dentistry he was asked to present and lecture on their behalf at the Academy of General Dentistrys National Meeting as well as the Hispanic Dental Associations National Meeting.
As a skilled, board-certified Laser Dentistry physician, Dr. Todd McCracken has lectured and taught his gentle, minimally-invasive laser dentistry techniques to dental students at Millennium Dental Technologies, The Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry, Baylor Dental School, as well as the University of Texass Health and Science Center.
Dr. Todd McCracken is currently involved by lecturing or teaching in a number of esteemed dental schools. Laser Smile Studio's staff is absolutely amazing every visit! My dental hygienist is always so friendly and gentle! And the dentist is fast and makes every procedure super comfortable! Not to mention they use and recommended natural dental products and more! Love this office and will never go anywhere else!

I have always received great treatment from Dr. Mccracken himself, as well as from Shelley, the hygienist. Highly recommend Laser Smile. No mask Nazis here ! From the time I was checked in to the gal who did a great job of cleaning my teeth to the Dentist who took the extra time to do fillings right then instead of having to make an additional appointment. Very proficient people ! It's good to know that there are still businesses that care about people!

I had been going to this dental office for many years. Shelly, the hygienist, does an amazing job. I can honestly say the last time I arrived I was under stress from work. Shelly joked with me, lightened my mood, and checked at the end of my visit and my blood pressure dropped from arrival to finish. I cannot think of another place where i can stayed that occurred. Keep it up Shelly.

At the moment arriving @ LASER SMILE I was provided the "state of the art"dental care, the Hygienist "Shelly" was SO informed with the latest knowledge of NATURAL treatments and 37 years of experience in dental technology. The Xray evaluation and cleaning prepared me with a personal consultation with their HOMEOPATHIC dentist DR, TODD MCCRACKEN .When I can afford the cost of Laser restoration of my teeth and gums , I will utilize their advanced , healing therapy.
