Dr. Sunghee Ahn is a highly skilled and experienced endodontist, respected by her peers and loved by her patients. She sets even the most nervous individual at ease with her gentle touch and kind manner, to reassure them their root canal will be free of pain.
With each patient, Dr. Ahn takes time first to create a connection founded on respect for the persons clinical and emotional needs. During the root canal, Dr. Ahn maintains this attentive approach, utterly focused on the individuals comfort and safety, as well as their endodontic needs. After the procedure is complete, Dr. Ahn provides post-op instructions and makes sure her patient is pleased with the service they have received.
Dr. Ahn attended Nova Southeastern University School of Dentistry, where she obtained her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Shefurthered her education with a rigorous postgraduate program in the endodontic specialty through New York University. She has practiced endodontics for many years.
Dr. Ahn completes numerous hours of continuing education each year in her specialty through these professional organizations. By staying current with the latest research and technological innovations and constantly honing her skills, she ensures each patient receives the high-quality care the person deserves.
Dr. Ahn is especially pleased to incorporate state-of-the-art technologies into her practice. She utilizes surgical, dental microscopes, cone beam computed tomography (CBCT), and a specialized laser. As a result, she provides the most advanced, safe, and comfortable endodontic procedures possible.
A native of Seoul, South Korea, Dr. Ahn has resided in West Palm Beach for more than a dozen years. She values time with her family, especially her teenage son, who wants to follow in his parents footsteps, and enjoys golf and traveling.
Dr. Ahn also enjoys activities through her membership in the Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach. She shares the organizations goal of inspiring the community to learn about and preserve the historical, architectural, and cultural heritage of Palm Beach.
Dr. Sunghee Ahn understands this misapprehension and is determined to reset the conversation. She takes pride in using many years of experience to serve her patients: relieving pain, eradicating infection, and restoring oral health painlessly!

My experience at Laser Root Canal was wonderful. Dr. Ahn was very professional and friendly. She even played my favorite music album on her own phone so I could have a relaxing time during the procedure. Her assistant Karina was amazing as well. Overall a fantastic experience at Laser Root Canal.

After having several appointments with my dentist for discomfort/pain (intermittent and at times constant) for a week, and a consultation with a periodontist, it was the recommendation that I see an endodontist. I was given referrals by my dentist but found Dr. Sunghee Ahn on my own via a Google search. I spoke with Stefania over the phone and got an appointment the same day. The office had a Zen Modern feeling. Dr. Ahn and Stefania are a respectful, professional, and a caring team. I would highly recommend them. They both went far and beyond and exceeded my expectations. I'm anxious getting any dental treatment. I have sensitive teeth, struggle to get numb, and avoid it whenever possible, so you can imagine my fear about having two root canals on the same day. From the moment I interacted with the staff and Dr. Ahn, I felt at ease. Dr. Ahn has incredible patience, checked in on me often and made sure there was no pain throughout the procedure. I honestly cannot recommend Dr. Ahn and her practice enough.

I just left Dr. Ahn's office. I had not 1 but 2 root canals. Coming from a very traumatic experience I was nervous. Stefania instantly made me feel calmer when I got there. Beautiful office with state of the art equipment! I have never seen lasers before and Dr. Ahn explained to me that it is a chemical free, more natural solution! Would not go anywhere else for a root canal
