Dr. Thuc Nguyen received his doctorate in dentistry from Laval University in Quebec in 1991. He owned and operated his own dental clinic in Ontario, Canada before moving to the United States with his wife. Upon arrival in U.S.A, Dr. Nguyen completed one year of general dental residency at St Clare's Hospital, Schenectady, New York. As Dr Nguyen's wife is a nephrologist from Sydney, Australia, he had the opportunity to work as a dentist in Sydney for one year before permanently settling in Atlanta.
Laser Dentistry was established in 2005. Dr. Nguyen is a progressive dentist who incorporates new dental technology to make his work more efficient and more comfortable for his patients. The introduction of the Power Lace Laser machine allows him to cut, incise and ablate hard and soft tissues with much greater precision and minimizes pain. The Cerec machine is a new computer aided-design (CAD), and computer aided manufacturing (CAM) technology to provide a range of dental restorations including: crown, veneers, inlays and onlays, fixed bridges and dental implant restorations. He also implement digital technology in his work. Digital X-rays to reduce radiation exposure, digital intra-oral camera for better documentation and patient education.
When he isnt in the office, Dr. Nguyen enjoys photography, building airplane and boat models, traveling, playing tennis, cycling, and ice skating and skiing. He is has been World Vision child sponsor since he was a dental student.
Dr. Frist was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She received her dental degree from The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where she graduated with honors. Following graduation, Dr. Frist furthered her education by completing a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington D.C. During her residency Dr. Frist gained in depth experience doing complex restorative and cosmetic dentistry and found it to be a great honor and privilege to be able to serve American veterans. She has been in private practice since 2011.
Dr. Frist is also certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics in Botox therapy for the management of TMJ dysfunction and headaches, as well as for esthetic indications. She is also a member of the American Dental Society, Georgia Dental Association, and American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
When Dr. Frist is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband Michael and their two sons, Tyler and Shane. Dr. Frist was a collegiate athlete so in her spare time she enjoys sharing her love for running and playing sports with her kids. She loves to bake in her spare time as well.
Dr. Azadeh Paziraei grew up in Lawrenceville, GA and attended Georgia State University. After graduating from The Medical College of Georgia with a degree in Doctorate of Dental Medicine, Dr. Paziraei opted to further her training by completing a General Practice Residency. There she received advanced training in multidisciplinary comprehensive dental care. Dr. Paziraei is a strong advocate for continuing education and has made learning her lifelong mission. She wants to ensure that her patients receive the best and most up-to-date treatments available. She is committed to building a longterm relationship with her patients and help them maintain their dental health for life.
