Sedation dentistry offers individuals with general anxiety about going to the dentist or fears about a specific dental procedure the opportunity to have a stress free and more comfortable experience. Utilizing safe and controlled sedation techniques prior to the dental procedure the patient is eased into a state of complete relaxation. This eliminates any discomfort, pain, and preoperative anxiety that may be associated with a particular dental visit. With sedation dentistry patients typically feel more at ease post-operatively as they have little or no memory of the actual moment-to-moment dental procedure.
Commonly referred to as laughing gas, nitrous oxide is used as a mild sedative to reduce anxiety and allow a level of relaxation during a procedure. Nitrous oxide is inhaled through a small mask over the nose. It is administered for the duration of the procedure and is turned off as the procedure is coming to an end. The effects of this method of sedation wear off very quickly.

Your first visit to our office is designed to get you better acquainted with all we offer as well as introduce you to our caring staff. On your first visit, we will review your medical and dental histories and evaluate your oral health. We will take digital x-rays of your teeth and explain to you whether or not you will require any dental treatment.

I went to LaSalle family dental for a routine cleaning. It was anything but routine: my hygienist was professional and thorough. Then Dr. Agarwal came in to take a look and confirm everything was in order. This practice does a great job and really cares about its patients wellbeing. That is why I have been going there for years and would highly recommend them.

I have had many caps in my life. The ones he just completed are stunning. You can't tell they are caps. The doctor is meticulous.

Great dentist office for the whole family! I was given the Silent Nite mouth guard which I wear every night now and it "cured" my mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). I also feel more rested in the morning and need less sleep probably because I'm getting more oxygen at night. Added bonus of the mouth guard is that it prevents tooth damage that can be caused by grinding. My favorite part of the bi-annual office visit however is the teeth cleaning which is very thorough and pleasant! Highly recommend this family dentist office!

The doctor is very competent and the staff is very friendly. I like this office so much that I go out of network just to be seen here. Dr. Agarwal is thoughtful and caring.

Because of Covid, I had not been to the dentist for 1 1/2 years. Going is not something I like to do. However, this particular experience was one of the best ones I have had. I met Justice (the hygienist) for the first time and she provided a very relaxing experience - probably one of the best. It was good for me to know areas that might be troublesome ahead of time while she worked. Having the option of listening to music also was helpful for me. Dr. Agarwal provided a great exam and is very personable. And, as always, Mary-Eileen is so very pleasant. I love this office!

My family has been coming here since we moved to CT almost 3 years ago. They are very accommodating and truly care about their patients. This morning my tooth literally broke and I called the office and they gave me an appointment within a few hours, and 25 minutes after I arrived my tooth was repaired. I am a happy customer.
