Dr. Dennis Sevel graduated Dental School in 1981 from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. He was in General Practice in Johannesburg from 1981 1989. In 1989 he moved to South Florida with his family. He has been in private practice in South Florida for 25 years with offices in both Broward and Dade counties.

It was well worth traveling to the Las Olas Family Dental Orthodontic & Implant Center, Fort Lauderdale. All the staff were pleasant and professional. I was seen quickly with my loose bridge was returned in position snugly. I know Dr.Sevel for about 10 years. He took care of my husband and I. Dr. Sevel is a highly qualified orthodontist with a bright and humorous manner and I highly recommend Dr. Sevel for anyone who needs a good dentist. Cathy

So glad I found this dentist! Office is super clean and high-tech! Hygienist, Idina (hope I spelled that right) is SOOO nice and SOOO thorough with the cleaning! She's the shining star of this office! Staff at front desk was very nice as well! Be back in 6 months!

This was my first time as a patient in this office. The staff and doctors are incredibly polite and professional. They explain the treatment plan and reasons for the suggested plan at length. This is unique in todays day and times. In fact, no fault of the office, my visit went longer than expected. Instead of rushing my care or me out the door to move on to the next patient, they advised they couldn't allow me to leave until I was fully taken care of. This is an example of how every office should treat their patients and a testament to upper management because great staff starts with you! I would highly recommend them as your next dentist!

I would highly recommend coming here. The staff was all so friendly and gentle. I was a new patient going for a cleaning and they treated me great. It is nice that they thoroughly explain what they are doing and make sure you are not uncomfortable.

New patient here! This is the best dentist in Fort Lauderdale! The entire staff is warm, caring and very professional. The office is super clean and parking in a private lot of the building so it's very convenient and safe. Making the appointment was easy and they are very proactive and accommodating. Top notch customer service on the phone as well as during the visit. They truly go above and beyond with handling appointments as well as insurance matters. Dr Sevel is an awesome dentist. He takes his time to explain things and is super thorough and gentle. His assistant, Alexis is also excellent! I can't wait to have my first cleaning with Idina. She performed my X-rays and it was terrific and educational experience! It took me five (long) years since moving here from New Jersey to find a great dentist and I almost gave up--now I am so grateful that I have found that at Las Olas Family Dental! Dr Sevel and his staff make "going to the dentist" a great experience. HIGHLY recommend.
