Originally from Arizona, Dr. Petersen completed his bachelors degree at Arizona State University. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of ColoradoAnschutz Medical Campus in Denver. As a lifelong learner, he continues to pursue advanced educational and training opportunities to stay on the leading edge of modern dentistry.
Born and raised in Las Cruces, Dr. Trujillo earned his biology degree at New Mexico State University. He completed his advanced dental degree at Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska where he received the coveted Whip Mix Best of the Best Prosthodontic award.
Originally from Edgewood, New Mexico, Dr. Porter earned his undergraduate degree in biology at the University of New Mexico. He went on to complete his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health.
Dr. Porter has had the privilege of serving patients at various community health centers throughout Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. With a heart for helping the underserved, he really enjoyed participating in a dental mission in Atoyac, Mexico. He has also been involved in dental charity events like Give Kids a Smile in Arizona and Texas, and Mission of Mercy in our local area.
Dr. Edminsten was born in Oklahoma and has had the pleasure of growing up in many beautiful states such as Montana, Nevada, and New Mexico. He is a graduate of the University of New Mexico with a degree in biology. After completing his undergraduate program he went on to study dentistry at Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska. He graduated in 2020 and moved with his family back to New Mexico where he began practicing dentistry.
He is happily married and has a beautiful daughter. When not seeing patients, Dr. Edminsten enjoys spending time with his growing family. You might also find him working on a project, snowboarding, hiking, traveling, or hunting.

We had an emergency. My autistic son had a very painful tooth with an infection going into his throat. It hurt and he wouldn't eat. I called every dentist in town, but they either didn't take our insurance or they couldn't see him for several weeks. At dental solutions they agreed to pull the tooth that afternoon. And although we had to pay out of pocket, it was a fraction of what the other dentists quoted. The dentist and assistant were so great! They were patient with my sons special needs. They were kind and very quick. This is now my family's new dental practice!

Horrible customer service. No phone call or text message to remind you about the appointment. Had to cancel day of appointment due to sickness and was told we would be billed. Had called three times the day before and no one answered. No VM to leave a message.

I am absolutely amazed by this establishment! From the front desk to the technicians to the dentist! Everyone is so awesome, the level the professionalism made me feel so comfortable and at ease. I am very self conscious about my teeth and my two partials but I felt no judgment which made it so easy for me when I had to have my wisdom tooth removed yesterday. I was relaxed during the procedure yesterday. Thank so much to everyone! I have always gone to Ben Archer BUT I WILL NOW COME HERE! Keep up the amazing work LAS CRUCES DENTAL SOLUTIONS!

Stellar! I was in town for work (I live in Albuquerque), and needed an emergency tooth extraction, long story. Dr. Mathew, with whom I felt close to since we share a name, was informative, calm, and precise. I had to photograph a full wedding in town the day after my procedure, and he made it it quick, painless, and easy to do my job with as little discomfort as possible. His staff was equally proficient in their skill, and given the circumstances, they made the experience as pleasant and pain-free as possible. Bravo. I commend them as masters in their field. My recovery time was quick and easy, and I'm sure it was all because of their procedural skill and concise discharge instructions for self-care. Thank you!!!

I've never ever had a bad experience, in fact I've recommended Dental Solutions to several of my friends, coworkers and family! The staff is very professional, the facility is clean and I'm seen at my scheduled time (give or take 10 minutes). My only regret is I wish I had know about them years ago!

Couldn't be happier with my experience here! Very attentive, even to my silliest questions. Getting all 4 wisdom teeth pulled at once couldn't have gone smoother! After a week, healing is going well, and I really believe it has to do with their special procedure of using my own blood as an insert into the space the tooth used to be. No dry socket issues at all! At first I was surprised by the cost, but it was well worth it for this outcome! And they have payment plans and packages.

9/4/22 I was having a molar crown replaced and the technician was trying to get an x-ray using a very large instrument which made me gag. After many attempts he used a much smaller device which worked. For 3 days now I have a sore tongue, cheek and throat making it hard to swallow and eat. Not GOOD!!!! I had my first appointment 2/14/22 and everything was great! The office staff was courteous and the dental personnel are professional doing the X-Rays and cleaning. I like the High Tech Equipment. FYI: Their website internal email does not work and none of their links for New Appointments, and other forms work on their website. Call to get the Appointment Forms.

My hygienist was spectacular but I felt dismissed by the dentist. He wrote me off & sent me to a periodontist. I felt the work could have been handled in house.
