I grew up knowing I wanted to work in healthcare. I knew I wanted to be a provider who saw my patients more than once or twice, and knew I needed to be able to build friendships and relationships. I wanted to improve peoples lives and making a lasting difference for them.

When Im creating a patients treatment plan, I consider them as a whole. I look at the jaw joints and airways, and always assess their facial structure. I want to craft a smile thats functional and attractive, one that will serve the patient well for the rest of their life.

My Doctorate of Dental Surgery was awarded by Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. I remained at LLU for my Orthodontic Residency. This provided me with exceptional foundational knowledge of orthodontics.

However, this is a constantly evolving specialty. I strive to stay at the forefront of technological innovations and new treatments. By pursuing continuing education, I ensure I am able to deliver advanced orthodontic care to my patients. I take courses through the SPEAR Study Club and participate in conferences, lectures, and seminars. Ive presented research to the California Dental Association and at the Hinman Convention.

I share my life with my wife and six children: three boys and three girls. We also have a German Shepherd dog. When Im not caring for patients Im usually enjoying the outdoors with my family. We like surfing, wake surfing, and wakeboarding. We also enjoy snowboarding, riding dirt bikes, and camping, hiking, and backpacking.

I grew up in Northern California where I attended primary and secondary school. During high school I played basketball, baseball, and football. I played in the band, participated in drama, and held several student offices. It is safe to say that I have always had wide-ranging interest.

For college I moved to Southeastern Washington and attending Walla Walla University. There I played varsity basketball and began to cultivate an interest in science and healthcare. Following my sophomore year, I took a year off from school to the Marshall Islands where I taught classes at a local high school. This is where I fell in love with travel, the beach and surfing.

Having decided on a career in healthcare and growing up around the dental field my mother was a dental hygienist and my grandfather was a dentist I chose to pursue the profession of dentistry. I moved to Southern California and attended Loma Linda University for dental school where I won awards for educational research and was published in the Journal of the California Dental Association. I practiced general dentistry for two years before deciding to go back to school to become an orthodontist.

My orthodontic specialty training was also at Loma Linda University. Here I performed research on how MRI technology could be used in orthodontics. This research was presented at the International Association for Dental Research convention. During my orthodontics residency I met Dr. Larson as on of my clinical instructors. His patient-first mentality and willingness to embrace new technology to improve the patient experience drew me to practice alongside him at Larson Orthodontics.

Orthodontics is the prefect career for me as it allows me to embrace my love of science and technology in a healthcare setting. I maintain an interest in sports, theatre, travel and outdoor activities and as an orthodontist I get to share these interests with so many amazing patients. I also get to learn many new things from them! Being able to provide a beautiful smile along the way is just icing on the cake. But seriously, dont eat cake its bad for your teeth.

If I am not at home playing with my dog, Bodi, you can always find me trying the latest food trends and traveling the world. I always try to explore a new location with my fianc. I am also a professional Netflix binger, which means I can always give you a great recommendation when you come in the office!

I am so grateful to learn and work alongside so many great people at Larson Orthodontics. Every day I live out my day to be significant in someones life. One simple act of kindness can change someones confidence forever.

Im so happy I get to do what I love, and work with such amazing kiddos and their families. Personally, I like to eat and experience new foods. I love to skateboard, hike, as well as rock climb when Im not in the office.

The best part of my job is the day patients come in to get their braces on. I love how excited they all are and knowing that we are changing the way they feel makes me happy and proud to work for Dr. Larson. When I am not at work, I like to spend time with my three beautiful girls and my husband at home or going to baseball games to cheer on the Angels!

I recently moved from the east coast and Im so glad I found Larson Ortho! We have a great team and work so well together. I love how we transform our patients teeth into smiles theyre excited to show off.

I have a loving husband of 10 years and I am Mom to 5 wonderful children. Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors. I love camping, spending weekends at the river and making new memories with my family and friends.

I love my job here at Larson Orthodontics! The staff is so friendly and we make a great team. Dr. Larson makes the days even more fun with his famous story telling. The office is gorgeous inside and makes for such a beautiful environment.

I started my dental career at age 17 and once I found orthodontics, I never looked back! I started as an assistant and now also am a Treatment Coordinator. It makes my job easier knowing I fully trust and support Larsons expertise. There are a couple Melissas at our office, Im the one they call Mel-B. I am married, have 4 sons and I enjoy singing!

I love getting to know my patients and helping them start their journey to a perfect smile! I enjoy working out, but I also love eating burgers and pizza. Outside of the office I enjoy cuddles and walks with my family.

So happy I get to be the first person to meet all of our new patients! The best part is seeing patients so happy with the results after they are done with treatment. Outside of work, I love to spend time with my family! We also love going to baseball games!

As a former patient, I understand the importance of always wearing your retainer! Now I get the opportunity to create retainers and other various appliances to help patients reach a straighter smile! When Im not working in the lab, I enjoy doing boxing and Mauy Thai. I also love eating tradition buffalo wings and Chick-fil-A!
