Dr. Larson is a native of Arkansas and graduated from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville with a Bachelor of Science in 1990. He received a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in Louisville, Kentucky in 1994 and completed a two-year residency in hospital-based dentistry at the Medical College of Virginia, Richmond in 1996. Two additional years of study resulted in a certificate in orthodontics at the University of Texas-Houston Health Science Center in 1998. Dr. Larson has maintained his private practice in Alexandria since 1998.
Weve built a team that not only treats you well but also cares about you deeply as a person! Theyve taken the skills theyve learned from being parents themselves and deliver those to our young patients as if they were their own. They look after the adults as they would want to be looked after themselves. And they have fun doing it! Youre going to love it here!

The assistant here was amazing. Very polite and helpful, but the orthodontist was very rude. I made it clear when scheduling my appointment and in my intake forms (days prior to my appointment) that I had done SmileDirect. I felt they got me to an 85% solution and was hoping Larson Orthodontics could get me the rest of the way. The ortho came in and very aggressively let me know that he had zero interest in finishing someone's work. That he had no interest in taking me on as a client. While that's understandable, that could have been said during appointment making, forms, or in-processing...and avoided wasting my time or theirs.

The team at Larson Orthodontics are very friendly, responsive, and organized. Dr. Larson is genuinely interested in providing the best care and leveraging the latest technologies for his patients. Very nice office space that feels welcoming. Highly recommend!

Dr. Larson and his team are great! They are professional and transparent, and explain every details clearly. I feel warmly welcomed every time visiting their office. I always get clear instructions and advices, and I always get my questions answered timely. Dr. Larson is loyal to his promise and commitment, to which I really respect and appreciate. Dr Larson. Nancy. Jen. Susan. Hands down the best dental experience I've ever had is at Larson Orthodontics! Dr. Larson takes his time and explains things to me in a way no other dentist has ever done. The team takes care of you from the time you walk through the door to the very last minute you leave. Always warm, courteous, professional and kind! Not to mention they're so caring and they have listened to and addressed all my concerns throughout my treatment! I'm almost finished treatment and I am seeing such beautiful results! Best orthodontic team ever! I'm so happy I went with them for my Invisalign treatment.

I absolutely loved my visit to Larson Orthodontics! First off, the physical office atmosphere is so cool, colorful, fun and inviting. His staff were all smiles as I entered the office, and this is huge for me, because friendliness says a lot. I went in for a consultation, because I felt like I may need further treatment after going through an online aligner company. Nancy and Dr. Larson were honest about me not needing any further treatment, and gave me great tips on how to proceed successfully with the aligner work that I have already had done. I really appreciated the pleasant care they gave me and my two young daughters (3 & 5 years) who came with me. I will definitely recommend Dr. Larson's office to anyone needing orthodontic treatment, and I plan to return in about a year and a half to have my oldest daughter evaluated. Thanks Dr. Larson and Nancy for a pleasant start to my day!

I was very impressed with Dr. Larson and his staff from the very first visit in April 2018 when they provided me with helpful and detailed information and recommendation to re-align my teeth with the use of Invisalign aligners. I began the treatment in October 2018, and I completed it in October 2019, with 100 percent improvement. I noticed, however, an improvement just after 2 months of wearing the aligners. Throughout the treatment Dr. Larson and his staff have been very supportive and were always available to answer any question or concern. I received excellent care from the first to the last visit, and I am very happy with the result..

Such a caring team working with Dr. Larson. They are all there to make sure you are satisfied to a tee. I just got my braces off and I'm happy to say they look amazing. It was worth every penny. Make sure to bring the whole family here to get the perfect smile!
