Dr. Morrill was born and raised in Colorado, where he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He continued his studies at the University of Southern California, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree with top honors, and completed his orthodontic residency at the University of California, San Francisco.
As an active member in the orthodontic community, Dr. Morrill belongs to the American Association of Orthodontics, the Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics, and the Mid-Peninsula Dental Society. He is also on the staff of the Plastic Surgery Department at Stanford University Medical School, where he is an orthodontic consultant with the Craniofacial Anomalies team.In addition, he is on the dental staff of the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford.
Dr. Morrill has been a member of the dental faculty of the Georgetown University Dental School in Washington D.C., the University of California San Francisco Dental School Orthodontic Department, and the University of the Pacific Dental School Orthodontic Department in San Francisco. He has also been on the dental staff of the Oakland Children's Hospital teaching the pedodontic residents about orthodontics. He has served as an orthodontic consultant and lecturer for the General Practice Residency Programs at the V.A. Hospitals in San Francisco and Palo Alto.
Dr. Morrill has had extensive experience over many years, having seen more than 9,000 patients representing every type of orthodontic problem. He is particularly interested in working with complex orthodontic problems associated with cleft lip and palate, as well as other craniofacial anomalies. He has traveled to various developing countries with teams treating patients with cleft lip and palate.
At Dr. Morrill's office, we have years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. Our goal is to create healthy and lasting smiles, while building a strong, caring relationship with patients and their families.

So far we're quite happy with Dr. Morrrill. We were referred to him from my orthodontist who is retiring and not taking new patients. Dr. Morrill explained his recommended course of treatment for my son very clearly. He described the process, the analysis he would do, the costs and expected results in his teeth. Although my husband and I are not medical professionals, we understood completely what to expect. We were very confident Dr. Morrill was proposing a reasonable, conservative course of treatment that was appropriate for my son's age and dental development. We also saw that Dr. Morrill's prices for his services and treatment were actually much less and much more inclusive over time than other quotes we received for similar or even less extensive, less timely courses of treatment.

If your are looking for no gimmicks or thrills orthodontist, Dr. Morrill is definitely the doctor you want to work with. His dental practice is the most down-to-earth office I've found in this rapidly and aggressively growing Bay Area. Thank you Dr. Morrill.

Saw Dr. Morrill recently and was very happy I found him. I had initial consultations with several other orthodontists and most of them would not tell me what I needed done unless I took x-rays and came in for further check-ups. I imagined they wanted to squeeze a few bucks out of me even if I wasn't going to get treatment from them. Dr. Morrill was friendly, patient, and honest. He carefully explained to me what I needed based on his experience (I knew I needed jaw surgery but he took the time to explain to me all the necessary work that leads up to it). Overall, it felt like stepping back in time, when doctors and dentists weren't in such a hurry to usher you through your visit. For this much care and attention, I was surprised to find that the consultation cost me only 1/3 of what the other orthodontists I saw had charged. As for the treatment plan, his price was also the lowest. Don't know how he does it, but he's awesome.
