Dr. Larry Gilman has practiced in Reno, Nevada for over 30 years. After graduating from University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry in 1975, he served for 3 years in the US Navy Reserve, stationed at Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton. He was president of the Northern Nevada Dental Society from 1985 to 1986 and he has served on the peer review committee for several years throughout his professional career.
In the early 90s, while maintaining an active clinical practice in Reno, Nevada, he contributed to the design of the Sustain Implant System, and taught Post Graduate Implantologyat the University of the Pacific. Dr. Gilman is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, theAmerican Dental Association, the Nevada Dental Association, and the Northern Nevada Dental Society.
Dr. Michael S Gilman was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. He obtained his Bachelors of Science in Business Management from the University of Nevada, Reno. He then earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University. Dr. Gilman participated in aresearchtable clinicwith two of his classmates that placed first inthe Dental School's Clinical categoryand second in the statewideClinical category atthe California Dental Association'sannual meeting, inAnaheim in 2010.
While in school he treated the underserved population in Southern California and La Vida, New Mexico. Dr. Gilman is currently working towards his Associate Fellowship in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and has completed their 300 hour continuing education course devoted to Implant Dentistry.Dr. Gilman is a member of the American Dental Association, the Nevada Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
