Dr. Larry Pribyl has been in private practice for over 34 years. He practices with a special interest in treating, head, neck, facial pain as well as dental sleep medicine. His training comes from experts in these fields where he has acquired hundreds of continuing education hours in post-graduate studies.
He performs quality evaluations and documentation for diagnosing and treating snoring, sleep apnea, and TMJ patients in Lees Summit, MO. His office is equipped with state of the art technology that offers testing to measure airway volume, jaw joint position, jaw joint health, and muscle activity. He integrates equipment including electromyography and functional sonography. The myotonic K7 equipment provides our patients with accurate neuromuscular assessments. He also offers the Galileos 3D CT scanning for his patients.
The number one goal in the office is to offer and perform the best quality of care available. The total health of the patient is of utmost importance. The office philosophy involves a conservative approach which includes a multi-disciplinary network with other health care professionals. This integration helps patients achieve maximum results. In July of 2012, Dr. Larry Pribyl achieved his Masters of Excellence in TMD (Temporomandibular Disorders). The achievement is reflective of attaining over one thousand hours of continuing education in the field of TMD treatment and serving over five hundred TMD patients. Dr. Pribyl and his staff are highly committed to resolving your pain issues and managing your sleep apnea and snoring.

I had terrible crippling pain with my jaw, and then once I came here it saved me. I feel like I have gained a family here with how much they care. If you are needing your jaw fixed, don't be afraid to get the help here. I had all the pain release once I was through with my frenectomy and I'm a lot happier. This place is amazing. Check them out.

Dr. Pribyl and his staff are amazing. I've been a patient for several years to first correct a TMJ issue and then maintain the correction. I can't imagine seeing anyone else! Their competence and compassion are unmatched.

Two of my children have come to Dr. Pribyl and both had different needs but are receiving excellent care. My daughter was told by a traditionsl orthodontist that her overbite was so severe he wasnt sure braces would correct it but could straighten her teeth as best he could. Dr. Pribyl's approach however wss completely different. Through the use of ALF appliances and myobrace he was sbke to create the arch development she needed and without braces or surgery her bite is perfect and her teeth as straight as they would be with Braces- without extractions of sny kind and no herbst appliane which traditional orthodontist was going to need to do. I have been amazed! In addition, the staff is professional, skilled, and always makes the visits enjoyable. We always are welcomed and never feel rushed. It is clear they take pride in doing fantastic work! My son has also had a positive experience after having to stop treatment with traditionsl orthodontist due to an allergic reaction to traditional braces that cut that route short. Dr. Pribyl had an understanding of what options could be tried and he is tolerating it well. Only wish we brought him here first as it would have saved him from having extractions that the ortho said were the best option for him. We higly recommend coming to Dr. Pribyl first. Passionate skilled professionals are what you will find here- doing what noone else in the metro can do!

Before I came here I had little to no jaw movement and very painful jaw pain. After getting appliances i am completely pain free and I thoroughly enjoy coming to their office. I absolutely love when Cetta is my doctor at appointments!!

This office is absolutely incredible. The office is stunning and very calming. The staff is so friendly, nice and helpful. Dr. Pribyl is wonderful. He is calm, caring, and genuinely interested in any problems you might be having. My TMJ treatment has had an awesome outcome. I have not had the pleasure to see the other physician, but have been coming to this office for years and I know he is very nice and friendly. The best of the best!!

I had pursued many dentists, doctors, and pain clinics, in Kansas City and even out of state, for an answer to my atypical facial nerve pain. After 5 root canals and still no relief, I was at the end of my rope. I was sick of the pain, depression and medications. I fear what my life would be like today, had I not found Dr. Pribyl. Dr. Pribyl was the only specialist who had the expert knowledge to address my problem. I finally had a diagnosis, TMD. Dr. Pribyl took a noninvasive approach to my situation and slowly but surely my pain subsided. I would highly recommend consulting with Dr.Pribyl if you are experiencing any unexplained facial pain. He has also helped my son and spouse with other dental issues. He is the best by far. His staff is courteous and caring, and they never make you feel like you are a bother. I can't recall all the times I needed to be seen quickly and they were always accommodating. Thank you all so much for going above and beyond.

This office uses outdated methods to treat TMJ which has resulted in needing additional treatment to reverse the potentially permanent damage. Additionally, the prices they charge are outrageous in comparison to other doctors with the same credentials. I once trusted this office and their professionals, but can no longer say the same. On the bright side, the staff is friendly.
