Dr. Larkin Swartz earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia and his doctoral degree at West Virginia University. He was raised in Atlanta, and moved to Rome in 2012 to open his dental office. Dr. Swartz strives to maintain the highest standard of care through continuing education coursework and participation in the ADA, GDA, AGD, and the Steve B Taylor Memorial Study Club.
Dr. Swartz is published in peer reviewed scientific journals in the field of Biochemistry. He has a second authorship publicationin the 'Proceedings for the National Academy of Science' and a first authorship publication in the Journal'Biochemistry.' He also conducted research with West Virginia University in bite mark forensics.
Dr. Larkin Swartz has a zeal for learning, but also a 'servant 's heart.' He lectures for the Head Start program in Rome and volunteers for the Special Olympics. In the aftermath of the 2010 earthquakes in Haiti, Dr. Swartz joined a group of healthcare staff to perform free mobile healthcare to the devastated Haitians.

Hate going to the dentist but Dr Swartz office makes the time go by quickly. His staff is great and he does a great job. Also if you're a fan of 80s music, he's always got it playing. Always a great experience.

I saw Dr Swartz on an urgent bases following complications arising from a dental procedure with a different doctor. He quickly diagnosed the problem, offered relief and gave expert advice. I highly recommend him!

Dr.Swartz and his staff are amazing I had root canal therapy done had complications and he went above and beyond to help see me through my terrible pain I endured after the fact I have never seen someone so compassionate in what they are licensed to do I wish I could give 10 stars this is my dentist forever.

Giving a 5 bc the dentist and everyone who works there are extremely nice and professional and I have been here multiple times without any problems. This is what you need to fix, You guys called me saying we have open appointments do you want to come in. I say absolutely. I walk in to my appointment and immediately get rushed out of the place and told to go wait in my car and that they will call me when there ready which is fine bc of covid BUT give people a heads up on that while making the appointment. When I finally had to call them and let them know I had to go back to work it was 32 minutes past my apt time. Things happen and covid makes it worse but maybe reach out and let people know you are running behind schedule. If I didn't call to cancel rumor has it I could still be out in that parking lot.

Had appointment.for my first visit to talk to the denist.had to cancel and was told if I couldn't make this app I could never be seen at this denist.i had to cancel that morning and the app was at 1:00.i wasnt given the time to explain that my daughter woke up sick.wish I knew how this place was run before I ever made the app.because they didn't act very nice at all when I said I needed to cancel.and then was told I could never see this denist EVER if you cancel a few hours before your app.very disappointed.things happen.like waking up sick

I had a crown come lose late in the evening. When I called first thing in the morning, they were able to work me in right away. It took about 15 minutes start to finish to clean up the crown and reattach. Professional and great service as always!

Who loves going to the dentist?? Not me, but Dr. Swartz and his team have a very non-threatening office that helps reduce anxiety. I went for the first time yesterday and I'll be going back again very soon.

Today I had the best visit I have ever had at a dentist office!! The staff was amazing from the lady I spoke with on the phone who got me worked in Today. The receptionist when I arrived was very nice. The nurse who took me back and done my x-ray was awesome as well. Dr. Swartz was absolutely amazing!! So friendly,nice, explained everything . The nurse then went over everything with me in detail. Now I see why my entire family uses this office!!

My mother and I had appointments at the same time. She's 90 and I'm one of those who has always been reluctant to see a dentist. But we are always made comfortable and things were explained in terms we understood. I've been going to Dr. Swartz for 5 years and mother for 1. We both love him and the entire staff is the most welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable I have ever seen in any professional environment. Beyond top notch.

Very comfortable place, with nurses & a dentist who are very nice, listen to you & your concerns. You can tell that they truly care. Dr. Swartz still be the ONLY dentist I see for the rest of my life! & I have recommended many friends there & I hope they share the same experience that I do when I'm there!

AS ALWAYS MY TREATMENT FROM ALL AT SWARTZ WAS, IS EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY. THE MOST PROFESIONAL, COMPASSIONATE, AND ENJOYABLE DENTAL EXPERIENCE. AT SWARTZ THEY GO BEYOND HOPEFUL EXPECTATIONS. I HAVE A VERY, VERY LOW PAIN THRESHOLD; AND REALLY CANNOT TOLERATE PAIN AT ALL. AT SWARTZ THEY ARE ALL DELICATE, SMOOTH IN THEIR MOVEMENTS, AND FUN TO BE WITH.
