Dr. Larkin Swartz earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia and his doctoral degree at West Virginia University. He was raised in Atlanta, and moved to Rome in 2012 to open his dental office. Dr. Swartz strives to maintain the highest standard of care through continuing education coursework and participation in the ADA, GDA, AGD, and the Steve B Taylor Memorial Study Club.
Dr. Swartz is published in peer reviewed scientific journals in the field of Biochemistry. He has a second authorship publicationin the 'Proceedings for the National Academy of Science' and a first authorship publication in the Journal'Biochemistry.' He also conducted research with West Virginia University in bite mark forensics.
Dr. Larkin Swartz has a zeal for learning, but also a 'servant 's heart.' He lectures for the Head Start program in Rome and volunteers for the Special Olympics. In the aftermath of the 2010 earthquakes in Haiti, Dr. Swartz joined a group of healthcare staff to perform free mobile healthcare to the devastated Haitians.
