Dr. Kimberly A. Lapeyrolerie received her Bachelor of Science degree from Xavier University of Louisiana with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in 2004. While attending dental school, Dr. Lapeyrolerie received an award of excellence from the Academy of Oral Medicine. Dr. Lapeyrolerie completed an additional training general practice residency at Howard University Hospital. She is board certified. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the National Dental Association. She is also a member of the Bowie-Crofton Dental Study Club and the Chesapeake Dental Implant Study Club. Dr. Lapeyrolerie enjoys cosmetic dentistry and creating a beautiful smile. The main goal of Dr. Lapeyrolerie is establishing and maintaining good oral health for all of her patients.
Dr. Vannie L. Taylorreceived his Bachelor of Science degree from Lincoln University with a major in Chemistry. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in 2004. Dr. Taylor also completed additional training in the advanced general dentistry program at Howard University College of Dentistry where he served as chief resident. He is a member of the American Dental Association, National Dental Association, the Bowie-Crofton Dental Study Club, and the Chesapeake Dental Implant Study Club. Dr. Taylor enjoys performing all aspects of dentistry to help patients achieve their esthetic goals and overall oral health.
Dr. Howard S. Salob has been practicing dentistry for nearly 50 years. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Yeshiva University. Dr. Salob received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in 1970. Dr. Salob was in the United States Public Health Service from 1970-1973, at which time he completed a general practice residency. He has been practicing dentistry in the Largo/Upper Marlboro area since 1974. Dr. Salob was the team dentist for the Washington Capitals from 1976-2007 and the Washington Wizards from 1976-2010. He is currently the team dentist of the Washington Mystics. Dr. Salob is a life member of the American Dental Association, a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and a charter member of the Academy for Sports Dentistry. He serves as Secretary-Treasurer of the National Hockey League Team Dentists Association. He is the Continuing Education Chairman for the Bowie-Crofton Dental Study Club. Dr. Salob enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is proud to say that he is now treating four generations of patients.
Charles C. DeRoo, D.M.D., M.S. earned his B.S. Degree from California State University (Fresno), his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, and his Master of Science (M.S.) Degree in Orthodontics from the State University of New York. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. DeRoo specializes in orthodontic and dentofacial orthopedic care of children and adults of all ages. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, and an active member of the American Dental Association, Middle Atlantic Society Of Orthodontics, American Association Of Orthodontics, Academy Of General Dentistry, World Federation Of Orthodontics, and he was a past chairman of the Ethics Committee of the Middle Atlantic Society Of Orthodontics.
Dr. De Roo provides traditional braces, retainers, and multi-disciplinary treatment modalities. Dr. DeRoo offers orthodontic treatment with Invisalign and other clear aligner systems. This place is terrible. My mom has been taking me here since I was a child. I stopped going for some time because I had braces and after about 5 years, I began coming back. I had an appointment about 2 weeks ago. This appointment was booked last year but somehow they continued to text my mom after I changed my contact information the last appointment. I called them to reschedule the Friday before my appointment, the line kept ringing. I call on Monday the day of my appointment to tell them what happened, they tell me it's nothing they can do they are charging me a $25 fee. I ask the lady why would it be a fee when I called and no one answered, she say because they already waived the fee from a prior appointment. I tell her I have never missed an appointment, not knowing what she's talking about. She puts her manager on the phone and her manager says they waived a fee for me back in 2013. 9 YEARS ago when I was in 9th grade and couldn't even drive. I explained to her I called to reschedule and the appointment was never confirmed by me. My contact information was also never updated which isn't my fault. She places me on hold again for about 10 minutes and says the appointment was confirmed by someone. NOT ME or my MOM but "someone" and they cannot waive the fee. The manager also said she spoke to my Dentist Mr.Williams and he also refused to waive the fee even though the appointment was confirmed by no one. They didn't even have my correct contact information, but continued to blame the fee on something that allegedly happened in 2013 when I was a teen. I told them I wanted to reschedule, they said I could not reschedule without paying them. I refused and will just find another dentist. Horrible customer service.

Ive been going to Largo Bright Smiles for over 5 years now. Dr. Taylor and his staff have continously provided great quality of service as well as maintained a high level of professionalism. I've referred family and friends to this office and they each have told me how appreciative they are for the recommendation.

Brights smiles staff is very professional. Dr. Taylor explains everything clearly and takes his time to make sure you understand what needs to take place. When I went to Bright smiles I was at a pain level of 10 & walked out feelin great! I recommend Largo Bright Smiles to everyone who wants great service and great staff...

The Largo Bright Smile staff and doctors are very professional and welcome all patients with a smile. Dr. Taylor provides clear and precise explanation on procedures as well as his recommendations on what's needed to maintain healthy teeth. I highly recommend this dental office to all.

This is by far the best dental experience that I've had since moving to the dmv. All of the hygienists and Dr. Taylor provide excellent care.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I was happy and healthy. All of a sudden I went to get my teeth cleaned here and I got very sick a few days later. The dental hygienist left my mouth open for too much and clenched my cheeks with a clipper which made my mouth sore. My joint also popped out of place. Now I'm still dealing with the damage done by the hygienist Mary. I tried going back to complain to a doctor but he was very rude and did not even hear me out.

I've been going to Bright Smiles before it was Bright Smiles when Dr. Salob was my doctor. I still love this facility. My hygienist Doan is pain free and thorough. I actually look forward to seeing her. My entire family goes to either Dr. Taylor or Dr. Lappi. This week was my first visit since COVID hit and their protocols were excellent.

This review is LONG overdue. I have been a patient at this office since I was 9-10. I am now 29. They have the best staff and always accommodating to my needs. On two occasions they saw me on the same day when I had a dental emergency!! Also, Dr. Vannie Taylor is the best dentist on the planet. Very knowledgeable and personable. You want to be a patient here!

I absolutely love this office. I received two fillings from Dr. Lapeyrolerie, and she was so professional and gentle with my teeth. Dr. Lapeyrolerie let me know what she was doing every step of the way. Also, Dionne is amazing with my teeth cleanings. This a great office and I highly recommend them.

Poor support from the billing office. Billing error on their part not timely billing my insurance and they want place the bill at the feet of the customer rather than accepting they made a mistake. Denied my family further service without giving us an opportunity to try and resolve the matter with the owners of the practice. The dentist are great if you can get past the front desk.
