Dr. Guy Lanzi has been practicing oral and maxillofacial surgery for more than 30 years. Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Lanzi completed his undergraduate studies at Rutgers University in New Brunswick and went on to earn his DMD from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He moved to Denver, Colorado to complete his residency in a busy regional hospital with a Level 1 trauma center affiliated with the University of Colorado.
Dr. Lanzi became interested in oral surgery in Colorado while interacting with doctors treating trauma patients. He decided to enroll in the oral surgery program at Denver; after completing it and an extensive internship with a renowned private practice there, he returned to South Jersey.
While preparing for his Board examinations, Dr. Lanzi met Dr. Frank Verdi, one of the best oral surgeons on the East Coast and a founding member of Cooper University Hospitals Regional Cleft-Craniofacial Program. Within two years, Dr. Lanzi began working as an associate with Dr. Verdis practice.
Working with the Cooper cleft palate team over the years has been a highlight of Dr. Lanzis career. Dr. Lanzis work with the team focuses on performing bone grafts on children six to nine years of age to make the jaw one continuous structure. Dr. Lanzi, along with Dr. Verdi, performed the first published placement of a tooth implant in a bone-grafted jaw.
Receiving a call to interview for a position as team oral surgeon for the Philadelphia Flyers is yet another highlight in Dr. Lanzis fascinating career. The job entails attending every Flyers home game, tending to the Flyers injuries as well as those of the visiting team. Dr. Lanzi has held this exciting night job for more than 26 years!
Dr. Lanzi feels honored to have the chance to carry on the legacy of Dr. Verdi, who always challenged his colleagues and trainees to take it to the next level. The entire team at Lanzi Burke continues to be committed to developing their expertise on an ongoing basis, which is why other doctors have continually referred difficult procedures to their practice. Dr. Lanzi views that taking care of those patients is both an honor and privilege.
Dr. Jonathan Burke has been practicing oral and maxillofacial surgery for close to 30 years. Born and raised in Bucks County PA he first became interested in the field when he himself underwent orthognathic jaw surgery for a bite problem as a young adult. This has given him a unique perspective as both a surgeon who performs this surgery and as a patient who has recovered and benefited from this procedure.
He graduated with honors from Temple University School of Pharmacy and was a practicing pharmacist while attending Temple University Dental School. After earning his DMD at Temple in 1989, he went on to complete his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Temple Hospitals program. His training included residency at Pennsylvania Hospital, St. Christopher Hospital for Children and Cooper Hospital University Medical Center in Southern New Jersey.
Dr. Burke first met both Drs. Verdi and Lanzi as a dental student at Temple and later worked with them as an oral surgery resident. He and Dr. Lanzi later went on to found Cooper Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons as Professors of Surgery at UMDNJ/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. During that time, oral surgery residents from Temples residency were full-time learning from the doctors during their time at Cooper.
Dr. Burke was the first surgeon in the Delaware Valley to pioneer the placement of craniofacial implants for bone anchored hearing aids and the use of the patients own stem cells for complex bone grafting techniques eliminating painful bone procurement donor sites. Together with Dr. Lanzi he has participated in the Regional Cleft Palate Program at Cooper and has served as a surgeon with the Flyers Hockey Club for over 25 years.
He and his wife Cara have renovated a 270-year-old barn at their farmhouse to serve as a place for youth ministry. Currently The Barn serves as the hub for Young Life Gloucester County. The Burkes vision is to provide a safe and fun environment for kids from middle school to young adults to be heard, supported, and share with them the great news of a God that loves them.
Dr. Wagner grew up in South Jersey being the daughter of a well-know, well-respected oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Being around her father, Dr. Ronald Wagners practice, she desired to follow in her fathers footsteps. After graduating from Bishop Eustace Preparatory School, she obtained her undergraduate degree from St. Joseph University. She then attended Temple University Dental School graduating in 2005 with her DMD.
She then received her training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Temple University Hospital and spent time treating patients at Crozier-Chester Medical Center and Cooper Hospital University Medical Center in Camden. When she graduated from her residency in 2009 she joined Drs. Lanzi and Burke.
So many families in South Jersey have been cared for by Dr. Wagner and its a common occurrence that shes taken care of every child in the family for wisdom teeth and multiple generations for other oral surgical needs.

I have seen Dr Lanzi for years and his partner Dr.Burke. Oral Maxillofacial issues are a top priority to me and my family. I return to them periodically for different issues as they are the best in this entire area.Their RNs are very well qualified.Their office staff is always extremely helpful. In this practice, the patient is always NUMBER 1.

I had no problems everyone was great and kind and caring. None judgmental and treated me with my wisdom tooth which was healed up in 1 week stitches desved and no more infection and I feel great. Thank you to the whole team in woolwhich and in Washington Townships office and there surgical team.

Awful customer service. Still waiting for a call back from the director over a week later after speaking the Julie, the "manager" who told me her staff makes no errors because SHE trained them . I let her know she needs to be trained in customer service, along with her billing reps & receptionists. Reading through some of the other reviews- seems I'm not the only one that they scammed out of money by telling one price and then charging another. Do NOT recommend unless you want to waste your time arguing with multiple people here.

I called the day before the procedure was scheduled and they told me I didn't need to have a parent with me the day of the procedure as long as I had a written note and a driver. They also didn't tell me about the amount of money due the day of. I get there at my scheduled time and they tell me it's 700+. Okay then, we pay and then afterwards they make me wait half and hour and then they come out with paperwork and consent forms. They ask my who's with me today and I tell them that my brother is and I give them the written note from my mother. They say that a parent has to be there now and when my mother offers to drive down they say that it's too late now. Wasted an hour there just for them to tell me no. Looking for a new place now.

Dr. Wagner is an excellent dentist! We researched doctors who had a great reputation especially with children and we found many wonderful reviews of Dr. Wagner! We knew from the moment we met Dr. Wagner that she was the perfect doctor to perform oral surgery on our son's impacted tooth! We cannot thank her and the entire office enough for their care, kindness, professionalism and expertise!

I developed a tooth infection about eight days before I was leaving for a vacation and was told the tooth couldn't be saved. I couldn't find anyone to extract the tooth prior to my vacation but then I was referred to this office who was able to fit me right in. Dr. Harel consulted with me the day that I called. He was able to fit me in his busy schedule the following day and extract the tooth. I had so much anxiety leading up to extraction. I cannot say enough good things about him and this office. I felt absolutely zero pain while they extracted the tooth and the healing process has been amazing. He was so comforting and made me feel at ease. I could tell he was very genuine in regards to wanting to help me so I could enjoy my vacation! Highly highly recommend this office and their pleasant staff!!!

I had both of my lower wisdom teeth removed today. Previous oral surgeons did not want to remove them because they were expected to be difficult to remove. Dr Wagner removed them and I am having an expected and good recovery so far. My procedure used general anesthesia. I felt nothing and remember nothing, which is great. They sent me home with clear discharge instructions, prescriptions, and scheduled my follow-up appointment before I left. Dr Wagner made me feel very comfortable and she explained everything to me in my consult and again before the procedure then also explained the details of what happened in the procedure to the person taking care of me post-op. My face is swollen as expected and the pain is as expected, nothing excruciating. I still have numbness in my lower jaw hours later but I was already informed by Dr Wagner and a previous oral surgeon that would possibly happen to me due to my nerve/teeth anatomy/location. I've heard some horror stories about lower wisdom teeth removals but this was not the case. I'm glad I chose Dr Wagner. Her nurse was also great, very informative, comforting, and got my IV inserted in one try.

I've been a patient of Dr. Burke for almost 20 years. He and his staff are the best there are. He's the guy that general dentist send their family members to! So, if you need to see an oral surgeon for any reason, don't hesitate and know that you are in excellent hands and will receive the best and most professional care you can expect.

Incredible Dr, amazing staff I've always had a fear of just the thought of going, I have a bad phobia of needles and I have never felt so at ease. As for his work well this is the second time I have used them because my healing and pain was half of what I've heard from other people that had the same work done at a different dr. I've highly recommended them to my sister for gum work and my friends I can't say enough about how Incredible this Dr is and his staff thank you thank you thank you

This practice is the best, in my eyes. The staff is always pleasant, professional and extremely helpful. Dr. Burke is wonderful! I am a nervous patient but he is very gentle and makes me feel comfortable. He is very reassuring. I highly recommend this practice.

Oral Surgeon, Dr. Lin, is great although not featured on the website. Unfortunately, getting/keeping an appointment was a hassle. The billing department was very uncommunicative prior to surgery and not helpful the day of which is inconsiderate of every individual going in for a surgical procedure.

My daughter's appointment was canceled twice. We came in for the 3rd appointment and waited over 1.5 hours. Were told to wait more to actually see a doctor. That was a consultation. I can only imagine how long you have to wait to get any work done. Time slots are created for a reason, not to sit in the waiting room full of people for hours. We are in Covid times in case you have not noticed.

Very unhappy with this office. I made an emergency appointment for a tooth that broke and Sam helped me schedule it and scheduled a surgery appointment at the same time. She told me everything is going to be billed under my health insurance as I don't have dental insurance. I was expecting to pay my $15 copay like Sam said. She even looked it up and told me what my copay was. and when I came in Kelly told me my appointment would not be under health insurance and since I have no dental insurance I would have to pay around $400 for just the exam and X-ray. She also told me that sam wasn't allowed to schedule me for surgery without an exam and my surgery date had been cancelled meanwhile I already took off work for that date. She said this entire procedure wouldn't be covered. I'm incredibly unhappy and ended up leaving the appointment. I'll be going elsewhere with my business as I feel every thing I was told over the phone by Sam was a lie. If you have to schedule an appointment MAKE SURE YOU DONT SPEAK WITH SAM. They will tell you whatever it takes to get you through the door and waste your time!!!

Highly recommend!! My family has gone to Lanzi/Burkein Haddonfield NJ for multiple care over the past 15 years and have been pleased every time!! If you need an oral surgeon this is the place to go!
