Hi, Dr. Lantzy here! I am a graduate of Texas Tech University. I received my dental degree in 2002 from the University of Texas, Houston Dental Branch and then in 2005 completed two years of postgraduate residency training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Rochester, Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, N.Y. In 2008, I completed my certification exam requirements and am now a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

I am often asked why I decided to become a pediatric dentist, and the answer is simple: I love helping people, children, and seeing individuals with smiles on their faces. Becoming a pediatric dentist was the best way to combine all of these things! I feel incredibly blessed to do what I do along with the help of phenomenal staff.

The team at Lantzy Childrens Dentistry is a team like no other. We are dedicated to providing the utmost care to your child. If they dont leave with a smile on their face, we didnt do our job! Each one of us are highly trained in pediatric dentistry, making us experts in our fields. Your child will be in the best hands at Lantzy Childrens Dentistry.

I would give them zero if it let me. Office staff is incompetent. If you have to file a medical claim they are no help to you even though they perform medical procedures. Update to response from Lantzy- the office never offered any letter to file with the insurance. Initial phone call they told me dental insurance doesn't cover it and we would need to pay out of pocket gave me exact amount to pay and told me I would have to file on my medical insurance myself. I've called several times needing the medical code and was offered codes that they told me was off google.

We love Dr Lantzy! My son gets super nervous before coming and he and his staff make him (and mommy) feel so much more at ease! He is very knowledgeable about all things teeth! He personally comes out and discusses what my son needs each time! I highly recommend Dr Lantzy and his awesome staff!!!

If I could leave this place 0 stars I totally would. Our first appointment was amazing, but everything after that has been a complete hassle. The office staff is absolutely rude no matter who you talk to. This is a "family owned" location but they are technically corporate. I've had them reschedule 2 of my daughters appointments, without my permission. I called to cancel an appointment and they never canceled it like I asked so I was charged $50 and was told I had to pay it before I was allowed to bring my daughter back into their office. I had another appointment Scheduled for today at noon and they called to cancel it because something came up. I have been so fed up with them, that I called corporate. Corporate informed me that the way he's running his practice is not logical for younger kids. Chris from corporate even told me I should consider finding a new dentist because of the way this office does business. They have refunded me half of my money from the dental insurance I bought the first time we went. Which I totally appreciate, besides the fact that I'm also out another $50 and now we don't have a dentist. Michelle went ahead herself to tell Dr. Mark, I no longer wanted his care for my daughter, which was not true at all. I told them if they couldn't get this fixed for me I would consider finding a new dentist. My daughter is in pre-K and is in an elementary school, I work, as well as my husband. This location requires kids a certain age to only be seen in the morning and will not accommodate your schedule for anything at all. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. Corporate has everything filed and documented. It will be taking care of. Thank you Chris from Corporate!!!

I hate writing negative reviews, but I feel the need to share because, despite other reviews I read, I ignored my gut. Dr. Lantzy is, upon initial meeting, very personable and welcoming. But please know, if you would like to question his plan, laughing gas, or anything of that nature, you will get pushback and a very different treatment. We have 4 boys, 3 of which needed treatments, and all were quoted for laughing gas, at $140 each. Our boys have all done dental procedures without laughing gas and had no issues in the past so I just wanted to have a conversation to see if it was absolutely needed. The cost of their laughing gas alone for all 3 boys was more than all their dental work. I was brought into a separate office with Dr. Lantzy and another lady both facing each other on laptops, very little eye contact with me. His stance and tone were not one of "let's have an open dialogue" but more of a defensive one. As a mom, pediatric nurse and former child life specialist, I am a strong advocate for listening to parents. Medical staff may know medical knowledge, but at the end of the day, parents/caregivers know their children best so their voices should be heard and validated. I was just hoping to dialogue with Dr. Lantzy, but instead I was spoken down to and essentially told how to parent my child. He asked why I would even bring money into this when it's my child, which, upon further research, most other pediatric dentists locally charge anywhere from $40-$75 for laughing gas, not like $140 here, and several practices don't mandate kids use it. He then compared me questioning laughing gas to me questioning getting the flu shot for my kids, which isn't the same thing at all. His bedside manner was so discouraging and enough to make me know we wouldn't feel comfortable here and my voice as a mom wouldn't be heard, especially if I questioned anything. I have one son that I know would struggle with laughing gas due to sensory issues, but he questioned that too. He could've said, "Thanks for sharing your concerns. I know these procedures can be costly and difficult, but I promise you're in good hands and laughing gas will ultimately help everyone involved." But unfortunately that wasn't the case. To add, I had brought one of my sons in his office who honestly wasn't nervous to start as he'd done this before. When I said I wanted to involve my son he said, "This isn't a conversation between you, me and your son. It's between you and me, and I have the final say as the dentist, and we're doing laughing gas." He also said I was making my son nervous because I told him too much about the procedure, and in the future, I shouldn't tell my kids what is happening or involve them because it makes them nervous and the dental staff jobs harder. The less I tell him the better. I'm going to tell my kids what is developmentally appropriate for their age. Plus, I'm their mother, and I think I have a better pulse on them. My son later told me he was acting shy and nervous because the dentist was making him feel uncomfortable with our conversation. All in all, I'm sad this was our experience, but hopefully it was a good learning opportunity for everyone involved. While I'm sure his work is great, his bedside manner was enough to make us terminate our care at the practice. ****Update: the dentist office commented below, but it's been over a month and we still haven't heard back about these issues. We found a new dentist who listened to both myself and my children, never spoke down to us and he didn't force laughing gas. My kids, even the young ones, were in and out with no issues or complaints in less than 30 minutes for all of them for their treatments. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Have taken our kids to Lantzy's for years! Love that they can get all 3 kids in at the same time & make them feel comfortable. When one mostly busted out their 2 front teeth I was able to call Dr. Lantzy up and our child was able to come in the very next morning to get those teeth fully removed. Also, I have appreciated Dr. Lantzy personally calling in the evenings of surgeries to check on our kids. If they did adult dentistry we'd all go! Love them!

Dr. Lantzy and his staff are awesome!!! I have taken both kids to Dr. Lantzy for many years before and after Ortho. Dr. Lantzy is great with kids, he has a wonderful chair side manner, and his staff are very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend and promise you will become a long time patient such as Us!!!

This office is the best! I have lived in several states as well as tried another pediatric office in Keller, TX. I was looking for someone who is invested in educating my children about their long-term dental habits. Lauren and the other hygienists take extra time to teach brushing to my three kids. She is diligent in backing me up as a parent about proper hygiene. The cleanings are thorough and interactions age-appropriate. I refer everyone here. Also, Danielle at the front desk makes check in easy and seamless.

After 2 appointments now with Lantzy Dentistry, I absolutely love this office! The whole staff has been so kind and attentive to my toddler's needs, and the office itself is incredibly inviting and clean. I can't imagine us going anywhere else for our pediatric dental needs. Highly HIGHLY recommend!

Great place! Takes good care of the teeth! Not always the cheapest, when it comes to teeth you don't really want to go the cheap route though.

This was our first visit here and the staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. They taught my son the proper way to brush his teeth by making him show them how he brushes and how to fix it. Great experience!
