I had an extraction and then a implant... Doc done an excellent job as I barely felt any discomfort....I visit a friend in Dallas and was told about him thru.a friend... Awesome work and fair prices..

TL;DR: The office staff (although nice) seem incompetent. There is only one dentist working, and no hygienists? The doctor does everything (even the cleanings) so time is an issue. Long wait times and when you're seen it's rushed to the point of serious mistakes. It takes days to get seen again and hours to get it fixed. The mistakes weren't fixed correctly though, so now I'm having to pay out of pocket to get seen by someone else. ---- Detailed Review ---- Starting this review with the only positive there is: the staff are nice and polite. They know how to calm a situation down and when doing procedures they are gentle. I've never had an easier or more pain-free time with xrays. However, that is the literal only upside. * Wait time: It's absurd. The first visit I waited standing at the desk without someone seeing me for 15 minutes. I know people have a tendency to exaggerate, I'm not. After that, an hour sitting in the lobby. Once called back, xrays were done immediately. Once I got done I was taken to a room and I waited there for an hour. The second appointment (To fix mistakes made) I got there at a few minutes before 9am and they didn't see me until about 10:10am. * There is only one doctor: ...And he does everything. He's nice enough, but only one person doing things means he's worn thin. He's in a hurry, because people are waiting. Which causes mistakes, that he then has to try to fix with the limited time he has to begin with. * They insisted on numbing me: Even though I told them I wanted to try without. They refused and insisted on numbing me. When I went back two days later to get mistakes fixed, they didn't numb me, and I was fine. Turns out, if they are super behind they don't insist, they only insist if they are only slightly behind. * The mistakes are bad, but getting them fixed is worse: He said I needed three teeth fillings and a cleaning. He did the cleaning (which was basicially just brushing them. There wasn't flossing involved at any step. There was a little scraping, but it was done rushed. The Fillings were done rushed too, so rushed that one filling cemented to the other tooth, making it impossible to floss. Two teeth were turned into one. The other filling wasn't actually filled, and the third filling (yes, he messed up all three...) wasn't smooth and was stabbing my mouth. When I called to have it fixed, they couldn't get me in for two days, which is whatever: I'd rather come in two days later when it isn't busy than it get messed up again right? hahahahahahahaha no. To their credit, they did smooth the sharp part on the third one. The ones that were merged got split "Good enough" (direct quote from the dentist, flossing takes work but it is technically possible, so yeah..) but one of the fixes was elongating a tooth (why?). So, now it's longer, and they did it crooked (again, why?). They had already spent more time on me then they had available to them though, so I had to get out.. I've called a different (better rated- I didn't check ratings before but I certainly will from now on..) dentist which I will have to pay out of pocket, but I'd rather do that then go back to Lantern and have more rushed work done.. Please consider hiring extra staff. It's crazy that only one person does actual work in the office. I am really hoping that the poor work is just due to stress and being rushed...

Dr. Salaran is hands down the best dentist in the metroplex. He is very kind and accommodating. If you have dental anxiety he is so calm and has several options to help. His prices are fair and he has several options for different treatments. He is the only dentist I trust. I drive 50 minutes for appointments and will continue to do so.

I have been coming here for over 10 years, the entire staff is amazing!!! Dr. Saeed will have you belly laughing, Porsha is one of my fav people!!! Khadijah is the best with the pics she usually can get a perfect shot of my mouth when I act right lol I love it here, my kids have cheated and gone to other dentists depending on where they have moved. I have never cheated on Dr. Saeed I drive 45 mins from work to him. And will continue to do so. Mint who??? Dr. Saeed perrrrriioood all day.

I highly recommend Lantern Dental Dr. Saheed he's an amazing Dr!!! Especially if your self pay he has great self pay prices!! I came because I was having pain in my wisdom teeth and he looked at them and said he can get them out that same day! As he started taking them out any pain I felt he made sure he would use more lidocaine to numb the area and I wouldn't feel any pain. He did an amazing job. Definitely will be back for my top wisdom teeth when needed. His front and back staff are amazing especially Maria she's the assistant in the back she was amazing to me made me feel like I was family cared for me like her own. Amazing staff and Dr!! Please go you will love it!

Don't make any plans for the entire day or ask any questions about your wait time or the dentist won't service you! My first time going I had to get my wisdom tooth removed so they allowed me to come the same day due to the pain. I patiently waited 3 hours. The second time going for a check up, I patiently waited 2 hours. My 3rd time going was for a filling, and after waiting almost 4 HOURS! I asked where the dentist was because I had been waiting so long and he caught an attitude. Barely spoke after that and literally did nothing regarding the filling. I still have to get it done! I guess it was an ego trip

Ghetto!!! Do NOT send children here. The hygienist wasted my time by not checking my daughter's teeth because she was crying. The hygienist clearly doesn't have children so her patience is short. She is making the owner lose patients. My child loved the other dentist who had a heart for children and apparently she quit. Terrible dentistry team with bad ghetto attitudes.

Cool and comfortable experience. Went in for a wisdom tooth extraction and it took a matter of seconds to remove, no pain during the process either. Will 100% return for later dental work when needed. Thank You Doctor! . . . P.S. Wonderful Manager and Front Desk.
