Dr. Rafaat received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1996. He then graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, in 2001. In addition, he completed an advanced general residency program that deepened his education in treating more complex cases. He is a member of the Virginia Academy of General Dentistry.

Fabulous practice. The staff are friendly and professional. They make every visit comfortable. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes after arriving for an appointment. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The Dr. seems to know what he's doing pretty much, however I did not like that they kept pressuring me to buy certain things even after I insisted I was more than okay. I also noticed one thing that was absolutely not okay, the way he was talking to his staff was blatantly rude and so condescending and demoralizing...even in front of me I could not believe it I felt so uncomfortable. I will try a different place where I don't have to feel bad about my visit, I would absolutely not recommend save your time and money.

Office mgmt is HORRIBLE. IF they answer the phone, they want to call you back and never do. After long wait in office, Dental exam OK, good cleaning, but try to up-sell you on stuff (crown replacement, fluoride, etc). Bottom line - pay more for a better dental provider. Some of the 5 star reviews must be fraudulent based on my personal experience.
