Dr. Elosta was supposed to be an engineer until a friend in dental school fascinated him with her tooth creation from morphology class. He realized that dentistry offered a creative component as well as an opportunity to work with people in a meaningful way, and his decision was made.
After graduating dental school in 2000, Dr. Elosta completed a two year general practice residency at Louisiana State University, School of Dentistry. Later, he moved to Virginia Beach to join a large group practice and became one of the lead doctors. Dr. Elosta has completed advanced training in several fields including a one year post graduate program in implant dentistry from Georgia Regents University School of Dentistry, training to become a preferred provider for Invisalign orthodontics, and completing advanced learning seminars in cosmetic dentistry. His continual quest for education resulted in receiving the fellowship award of the Academy of general dentistry that is attained after completing over 500 hours of hands-on participation and lecture courses. Dr. Elosta is also an active member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the State of Virginia Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
Hugo joined Lansdowne Family Dental with over a decade of experience in the oral healthcare profession. He actually graduated high school thinking he wanted to study mechanical engineering because he liked cars, but his career path quickly changed. After having the opportunity to work in a dental office, he discovered he loved the field.
Originally from Lima, Peru, Hugo earned his education from Northern Virginia Community College. He is married and enjoys working out at the gym, playing football, and studying nutritional science whenever he has free time.
Florentina has been working in the dental field for nearly 15 years so far, first joining our team in September of 2019. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Virginia Western Community College with her degree in dental hygiene and also received the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award for clinical excellence! Today, her favorite part of being a hygienist is that the patients entrust her with their health. She loves getting to know them and helping them achieve strong, lasting gums and teeth through education and preventive care.
Born and raised in Romania, Florentina has been living in Winchester since 2004. She and her husband have one grown son. When she isnt busy at the practice, her favorite hobbies include gardening, sewing, cooking and baking for friends, reading, and taking long, relaxing walks in nature.
Maryori, a graduate of Northern Virginia community college, is in the field of dentistry for the past 6 years. She is passionate about everything she does and never tires of seeing the smiles that come from patients satisfaction.
Born in Costa Rica, Priscilla has now lived in Virginia for over two decades. Her career in dentistry spans three years and counting, and she loves working with such a wonderful team here at Lansdowne Family Dental to provide the best care possible to patients in need.
Priscilla has a hardworking, loving family at home. Outside of work, she spends her time hiking and exploring with her Siberian Husky Alko, baking, cooking, running, and enjoying cold weather (her favorite). She also loves reading books and then watching the movie versions of them!
