Dr. Alla Brown earned her dental degree in 2005 from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. After working for several years as an associate, she opened her dental practice, Lanier Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in 2008 in Buford, Georgia.

Dr. Browns post-graduate studies are concentrated on implant restorations, cosmetic and restorative procedures, and rehabilitation dentistry. Dr. Brown has a passion for learning, earning over 100 hundred hours yearly in continuing education. In 2014, Dr. Brown completed fellowships with the American Academy of General Dentistry and is now pursuing her accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

In addition, she also serves as an adjunct clinical instructor for Augusta State University College of Dentistry, mentoring, and instructing senior dental students in the clinical setting. Dr. Brown also serves as a clinical instructor for Clinical Mastery Series, a continuing education program that teaches advanced curriculum on cosmetic and restorative dentistry to dentists all over the country. Her commitment to advanced learning allows her to stay abreast of recent developments and technologies, ensuring the best techniques and materials with which to serve patients.

In addition to the classroom, she also enjoys giving back and volunteers at a local clinic in Gainesville, Ga., the Georgia Mission of Mercy, and Give Back a Smile, a program that provides free dental care to victims of domestic violence.

From the moment you step into her office, you can see that Dr. Brown absolutely loves her patients, her role in the community, and her work family. Dr. Brown, her husband Buck, and their two daughters live in Hoschton, Ga. Outside of the office she enjoys running, working out at Orange Theory, reading, and cheering on the University of Georgia.

Dr. Amanda Newberry was born in Irving, Texas, and moved to Georgia in 1995. Dr. Newberry graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia with a bachelors degree in Biology. She received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Augusta University Dental College of Georgia, formerly known as the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Newberry practices in all areas of general dentistry including oral surgery, pediatrics, cosmetics, and orthodontics!

She strongly believes in keeping up with the newest advances and techniques in general dentistry. This drives her passion for continuing education. She has completed many hours of continuing education courses and participates in study groups to continue that expansion of knowledge.

Dr. Newberry resides in Sugar Hill, GA with her husband Chris and new baby girl Charlotte! In her free time, she enjoys spending her time with family and friends. She loves spending time outdoors, working in the yard, running, and mountain biking. On Saturdays in the fall, you can catch her between the hedges cheering on her favorite football team at the University of Georgia Go Dawgs!

Susannah joined our practice in March of 2020 and comes to us with over 14 years of experience in the field of Dentistry! She was born and raised in Gainesville, GA, and currently resides there with her son and ragdoll cat, Blue! After High School, Susannah attended Athens Technical College where she obtained her Certified Dental Assisting and Expanded duties certifications. Shortly after, she obtained her DANB certification as a Certified Preventive Functions Assistant and served as president of the Georgia Chapter of the American Dental Assistants Association.

Susannahs passion for dentistry, patient care, and the desire to teach others resulted in her natural transition into practice management! She is a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers and loves taking continuing education courses to keep her skills up and further her knowledge in all aspects of Dentistry! In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music or podcasts, hiking, spa days, antiquing, and attending her sons extracurriculars!

Bonnie is our insurance coordinator for Lanier Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. Bonnie has been with us since our opening day in 2007 and has been in the field of Dentistry for 26 years! She and her husband Bill moved to Buford, GA. in June of 2005 after a lifetime near the beach in Fort Lauderdale, FL. They have three children and six grandchildren.

When Bonnie is not working she enjoys babysitting her grandchildren and attending their sporting events. She and her family enjoy spending their time baking and try to sneak in at least two trips a year to their favorite place, Disney World in Orlando. She enjoys helping others and will tell you that her goal is not only to ensure that patients have an enjoyable experience while in our office but that they also leave laughing and as friends!

Lauren has been with our practice since the summer of 2018 and was born and raised in Georgia. Lauren has many years of experience in the dental field and enjoys taking on new tasks and doing what she can to make things easier for those around her. She always has a smile on her face and loves meeting new patients.

Lauren prides herself on making sure every patient who walks through our doors has the best possible experience. She currently resides in Buford with her son Logan. Some of her hobbies and interests include spending time with family, going to the beach, baking, and enjoying Starbucks.

Beth has been with our practice since the spring of 2008. She was born in LaGrange, Illinois, but considers herself a native Georgian! She received her Dental Hygiene degree in 1990 from DeKalb College (Georgia Perimeter College).

Beths knowledge and experience have made it easy for patients to trust her standards and approach to their care for more than 30 years! She truly enjoys building those relationships! She has two sons Ryan and Matthew. In her free time, Beth is active in her church and enjoys crafting, working out, and playing with her puppy Benton.

Racheal has been with our practice since the summer of 2011. She was born in Athens, Alabama, and currently resides in Cumming, GA. Racheal received her Associates in Dental Hygiene Degree from Lanier Technical College in 2009. Her detail-oriented personality makes her an exceptional Hygienist who truly aims to make sure you have a healthy smile for years to come!

Racheals husband Jake is the strength coach and offensive coordinator at Creekview High School. While away from the office, she and her husband enjoy spending time with their children Amelia and Hudson. Some of Racheals interests include attending Jakes High School football games, time with family, hiking, watching Alabama football, and attempting D.I.Y. projects.

Chrissy has been with our practice since 2011! She was born in Norcross but spent most of her time growing up in the Auburn, Georgia area. After graduating from high school, Chrissy attended Gwinnett Technical College where she obtained her Certified Dental Assisting Certification.

She is our Implant Coordinator and is great at helping facilitate our full mouth restoration cases in such a way that makes the process as seamless as possible for our patients. She currently resides in Buford with her two sons Ronin and Colin. While away from the office, Chrissy enjoys spending time with her family, going to the lake, and cooking.

Candace joined our practice in January of 2019. She was born in Dekalb, Ga., and moved to Buford when she was nine years old. After high school, she attended Georgia Perimeter College. Candace has 16 years of experience as a dental assistant and is passionate about patient care.

She currently resides in Buford with her husband Max and her son Lucas. When not at the office she enjoys going to the park with her son, being active in her local church, and spending time out on the lake.
