As a native of Cumming, Dr. Durand is passionate about her localcommunity and her patients. She strives to build connections with her patients as well as educatingthem so they canachieve optimal oral and overall health.She attendedNorth Georgia College then earnedher degree in Dental Medicine from Medical College of Georgia, Augusta. She is active in Rotary Club of Forsyth County, United Way and Shepherd Center Peer Visitor Programs as well as junior choir director at her church.
Graduating from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts in Neurobiology and Physiology. Dr. Palmerthen received his Doctor of Dental Surgery and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois. His passion lies
of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville. As a native of Cumming, she grew up in dentistry as the daughter of a dentist. She is always looking for ways to give back to her community and local schools,and servesannually with Louisville's Remote Area Medical Missions.Her desire is always to provide excellence in dental care; every patient,every visit.
Lauren Palmer Freitag was born in Chicago, Illinoisand movedto Georgia when she was 6 years old. Growing up, Lauren played travel fast pitch softball and attendedMilton High School. Upon graduation from Milton High School, Lauren attended Auburn University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology in 2011. After college, she moved to Louisville, Kentuckyto pursue an education in dentistry at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Lauren was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a prestigious dental honor society, and graduated Summa Cum Laude. While in dental school, Lauren met her fianc, Josh Freitag, who also graduated from University of Louisville School of Dentistry. They plan to marry in May 2016. Some of Lauren's favorite things to do are attend Auburn football games with her family (War Eagle!), cheer on the Louisville Cardinals men's basketball team (Go Cards!), spend time at the beach, and spoil her two dogs, Bentley and Bristol.
Our staff has been hand-selected to serve our clients in both our Cumming andDawsonville locations. Many of them have been with us for over 15 years.Continuing education, certification and learning about progressive dental treatments are all priorities we take on as a team andstrive to stay current on emerging trends and procedures in thedental field. I had my first visit to Lanier Dental Partners today and my experience from scheduling to checking out was stellar. Anna at the front desk was friendly and helpful, my hygienist Morgan was warm and welcoming and thoroughly explained everything to me to make sure I understood, and Dr. Davis had such a great disposition. As someone who has anxiety at dental appointments, I felt so at ease at LDP. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a dentist.

I had a molar that shattered. Dr. Davis and her staff had a temp on it within no time and now I have my permanent cap and it feels great. She is a great dentist, and her staff are great people.

I had horrible experiences with dentists in Florida and also had a serious fear of anything dentist related. I saw Dr. Davis to fix a broken filling and she and her staff were AMAZING!! She has fantastic bed side manner and you can tell she really cares about her patients! I have definitely found a wonderful dentist and the anxiety about going back is completely gone. I have recommended this practice to my husband and parents who are promptly making appointments. Thank you for the professionalism and caring service you provided while fixing my filling Dr. Davis. All the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming !

Best dentist office I've been to in over 10 years! I had a bad experience ( traumatic actually) a few years ago at a dentist in Columbia, SC and my anxiety went through the roof finding a dentist in Georgia. This office is amazing! I told them of my trauma and they have gone above and beyond making sure I was comfortable. From my wonderful hygienist, to my fabulous dentist and dental assistant, they continue to go above and beyond. I'm so thankful for the whole staff at Lanier Dental in Dawsonville. I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

Staff is very nice. But went to them for a toothache had a tooth pulled it was the wrong one I'm still in alot of pain thought I had a dry socket only to be told it was the tooth behind the one that was pulled that was the problem. Payed them $275 dollars to have the wrong tooth pulled now they want another $168 to $308 to pull the right one and they told me I have to wait a week for a appointment. Very disappointed and frustrated
