Dr. Delphine I. George completed her undergraduate education at UCLA in Los Angeles with a B.S. in Biology. She then worked in a dental office, before gaining admission to Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington D.C. where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
She completed a General practice residency in Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn New York. Dr. George is an active member of the Academy of General Dentists. She is invisalign and fast braces certified.

I went to Lanham family dental for a routine cleaning and was pleasantly surprised to get a bill for an additional $180 on top of the $60 I had paid. After doing a dental consultation, they advised on a special cleaning, which my insurance provider would have needed to approve of. The insurance did not approve, which would have put the cost on me. I was never notified that it would not be covered and before performing the service, it would have been nice to have been asked if I wanted to proceed instead of them just doing it. Its less about the money and more about the principal in dealing in good faith.

Let me start by saying the office is immaculate, clean and very warm. The office staff are friendly and always have a smile to greet you. I cannot sing enough praises for dental hygienist Bessong and Dr. George. They are the most professional and knowledgeable people I've met in the dental industry. I had so many issues with my teeth and gums but they creating a plan to get my gums back in better shape abd it is working! My teeth use to be so sensitive. Now i can eat cold food without feeling my teeth hurting! They are truly the dental dynamic duo!!!

Great service. I was afraid of the dental office till I went to Lanham Family Dental office. The service was great, the staff were courteous and their price was reasonable. I will recommend this office to anybody.

I've been to several dentists in MD the last 25+ years. This is the ONLY place where they make to you go see them TWICE just for a simple preventive clean. Day 1-they clean; day 2 after several weeks-they polish. The ONLY reason whey they make you go twice is to bill your insurance company multiple times, hence putting more money in their pockets. That's TERRIBLE customer service and a waste of our time. They also charge $50 if you don't call 24-48 hours in advance to cancel. We never had to cancel, but what kind of stupid policy is that? PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE, 99% of others in this DMV area will take care of you all at once; that is, clean AND polish same day.
