Dr. Morgan Trahant Lang became the first female orthodontist when she opened Lang Orthodontics in Shreveport in 2012. With aspirations to give back to the community that helped to raise her, Dr. Lang returned back to her hometown of Natchitoches to make orthodontics more accessible and convenient to more families. She is now serving Shreveport, Natchitoches, Benton, and the surrounding areas. From the beginning, Dr. Lang has incorporated mentoring and job shadowing opportunities in hopes of continuing the legacy of females into the orthodontic field. Youre not only getting a great smile, youre also supporting women in STEM roles today andthefuture.

Dr. Lang is passionate about being an orthodontist. It is an honor to help you and your child achieve the smile you have always dreamed of. Upbeat and enthusiastic, Dr. Langs personality is infectious and will surely rub off on you and your family. Dr. Morgan Trahant Lang became the first female orthodontist in Northwest Louisiana when she took over Dr. H.O. Blackwood's practice in 2012, her childhood orthodontist and mentor. They say, If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. And that's certainly true for Dr. Lang!

When not seeing patients, you will find Dr. Lang and her team dressed as superheroes and visiting local schools. Our office educates and encourages proper oral hygiene, and the audience learns how to become super at caring for their teeth and their community.

She has participated in the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade for over 10 years as a clown. She has found herself working alongside celebrities including Richard Simmons, Maroon 5 and local celebrities from the cast of Duck Dynasty.

Dr. Lang and her staff were so wonderful from day one. They were always professional and really made a point to get to know you. Dr. Lang not only is a perfectionist when it comes to your teeth but shes also very knowledgeable. Dr. Lang and her husband Eric have two young children, and a frenchie named, Blueberry. You may see Blueberry make an appearance in the office from time to time. Blueberry looks just like a real-life version of our office mascots, Bracket and Bracey.

Eric loves to meet new patients and their families, and is our in-house expert in guiding you through your experience at Lang Orthodontics. As one of our treatment care specialists, he meets with each patient to thoroughly discuss what they can expect from each procedure and treatment plan, and answer any questions or concerns. Originally from New York, Eric loves and misses the pizza. He and his wife, Dr. Lang, have two children and Frenchie named Blueberry. In his spare time, he enjoys swimming both coaching and competing. When you stop by the office, dont forget to ask him to perform a magic trick or two!

Mandy has been in the orthodontic field since 2005. She is a true NSU Demon fan at heart as she attended college Northwestern State University. She loves building relationships with patients and their families throughout treatment. She especially loves seeing those smiling faces on removal day. Outside of the office, Mandy enjoys her family time with her husband and two kids. They all enjoy cooking and playing board games together.

A big believer in extraordinary customer service, Angel wants all patients to feel comfortable and confident about the financial portion of their orthodontic care. She works closely with patients as our Insurance Specialist and Account Coordinator. Angel comes from a large family that will always keep her heart and roots in Texas. While she has spent most of her life in the Shreveport area, she is originally from Corpus Christi, Texas. Angel enjoys spending time with her two boys and her husband. They love to go camping, fishing and watch movies together.

Kayla enjoys living on a lake with her long time boyfriend and fur baby, Hunny. Proud to have earned her expanded duties dental assistant certification, Kayla has a love for orthodontics in helping her patients achieve beautiful smiles! Witnessing the confidence in her patients and fostering relationships with families are some of the best aspects to her position. Outside of work you can find Kayla with her niece and nephews at the ball field as well as cheering on those LSU tigers, cooking, wake-boarding and wake surfing and enjoying all things lake life.

Lindsey has enjoyed a long career in dentistry, but has found a home in Orthodontics as an expanded duty orthodontic assistant. Watching her patients beautiful new smile is so fulfilling for Lindsey and she encourages you to become your best self. In Lindsey's spare time she loves to rodeo and travel with her husband and her sweet little girl.

Dentistry and orthodontics has been a passion of Hannahs for a long time. Originally from Shreveport, it means the world to Hannah to have a great career and work family so close to home. For Hannah, seeing the confidence of her patients soar is the most gratifying thing in her position. In her spare time, Hannah loves spending time with her family and friends. She loves to go shopping and listening to live music.

Being an orthodontic assistant is a life changing career. She loves connecting with patients at all their visits. She is amazed everyday by the transformation orthodontics can do for someones confidence. On the weekends you can find her spending time with her family, shopping, and enjoying the outdoors.

Kellys passion for orthodontics started over 20 years ago. Getting to know awesome people and their families is one of the many perks of being in this industry. She is a firm believer in the saying A Smile is Contagious, so is Kellys infectious laugh! You are sure to have a good time along with great care with Kelly as your orthodontic assistant. Outside of work you can catch Kelly on the golf course or tailgating, cheering on those LSU Tigers.

Bracket, a French bulldog, is the mascot for Lang Orthodontics. Originally from Shreveport, Bracket loves all things French: French movies, French paintings, and of course, French Fries! He is a big fan of good hygiene and straight teeth. He enjoys a good rub between his soft ears, and loves to play fetch.
