Dr. Millward is an Orlando native, graduating from Boone High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology & Cell Science (cum laude) and also his dental degree from the University of Florida. After graduating from Dental School, Dr. Millward stayed in Gainesville and practiced dentistry there for 10 years before coming home. We are pleased to announce that the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) has awarded Dr. Millward with the prestigious Mastership Award, one of the most rigorous continuing dental education awards offered today. Dr. Millward completed 1,100 hours of coursework in the 16 areas of dentistry to receive the Mastership Award from the AGD, a professional association of more than 40,000 general dentists dedicated to staying up-to-date in the profession through continuing education. This achievement marks a significant milestone in his career, because the award demonstrates his long-term commitment to go above and beyond continuing education requirements to provide his patients with the most up-to-date treatment options and superior patient care.
Dr. Millward is the proud Dad of his son, Caleb, who keeps him busy playing soccer, hiking, camping, staying fit and eating healthy. In addition, you will find him watching Gator football (Go Gators!), paddle boarding and lobster diving. He enjoys spending time with his family, being involved in his church and contributing to the community through Habitat for Humanity.

Dr. Millward is the best! Everyone in the office from the front office staff (shout out to the lovely Laura) to the hygienists to Dr. Millward himself, make the "dreaded" dentist visit something to actually look forward to. I have been going there for many years now and they make sure my teeth are in excellent health.

I don't like going to the dentist. However, I always go for my cleaning to avoid future problems. This is the best practice ever! They always make me feel comfortable and safe! I know that may sound silly but it means everything to me. I've been with them for years and wouldn't think of going someplace else.

I was a little concerned before going to the dental office because of the covid-19. I can tell you that I was put at ease as soon as I entered the door. I felt that everything was sanitary, and was put at ease by all of the staff. My visit at the dentist was comfortable, and I appreciate everyone's kind spirit. The service and professionalism of the office is unmatched. My family has been going to this office for over a decade. We have numerous options in the Dr. Phillips area yet we drive 30-45 minutes because we know we will not find another practice like this one. From the front office staff on, we love everyone in the practice!

Another wonderful experience! Amber did a terrific job at keeping me calm and comfortable for the cleaning. She was very knowledgeable and thorough. I highly recommend this office! Me and my brother were the first children they would work on because my entire family went there. Now 25 years later we all still have only gone to them for dental needs and we love their services and haven't had a reason to go anywhere else. This office is extremely friendly, very clean, very professional, up to date office and makes you feel like their family. You don't feel like a patient when you are here, even though I see different hygienists sometimes, I am always asked how my personal life is going and always leave with a beautiful smile.

It was a great experience. Needed urgent temporary crown for a broken tooth and I got worked in even on a weekend. Everyone at the front desk and the hygienist are all so sweet and professional. Loved it

I'm embarrassed to admit I don't remember the name of my hygienist, but she was exceptional. She was polite, professional, very knowledgeable, and did not rush thru the process. She was really great. Of course, the office staff was great, as usual. I didn't get the chance to talk to the doctor b/c he was not in the office but I'll follow up.

They got me an appointment quickly! I waited less than 5 minutes to see Dr. Millward and he fixed my issue in just a few minutes. The office is clean and taking all Covid protections.

Excellent massage from Devon! Renee was wonderful! They accommodated me even though I was 15 minutes late. So professional. The place is decorated so nice too. Very comfortable rooms for the massage. Very lovely place. Highly recommend!
