Dr. Gary Lang is a lifelong resident of Rochester, New York and practices General Family Dentistry in the town of Greece since 1985. In pursuit of his dental goals Dr. Lang attended St. John Fisher College, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Pennsylvania.
Upon graduation of dental school Dr. Lang purchased an 1850 farm house in Greece and with the help of family, they converted the front of their home into a dental office. He has been serving the community for more than 32 years. The home office setting and caring staff have provided patients with a family atmosphere for many wonderful years.
Dr. Langs practice emphasizes comfort, communication, education and quality treatment with the latest techniques constantly implemented. His team sees patients from one year old through 100 years old. They provide a wide range of dental services in a patient centered caring way. Their goal is to provide the highest quality dental care in a way we ourselves would like to be treated.
His interest in dentistry started at a young age. As a grammar school student, he participated in the Soap Box Derby. It was there that he met his mentor, the director of the derby, Dr. Richard Rohrer DMD, Orthodontist. Dr. Rohrer encouraged Dr. Lang to consider applying his craftsmanship skills towards dentistry.
He married his best friend Kathy in May, 1983. They have three great children, Brittany, Greg and Kevin. Gary and Kathy couldnt be more proud of the adults they have become and they encourage them to follow their dreams.

I can honestly say that this is THE BEST DENTAL OFFICE IN ROCHESTER. The staff is overly welcoming from the front desk to the dental hygienists. And I will say this as a Black Woman that knows the difference with care they don't see that and for that reason I will continue to recommend them to everyone. Especially Jessica I love her laugh is contagious lol. Bottom line awesome DENTAL OFFICE EVER.

Words cannot express the gratitude I have for Lang Dental Group. I had a dental emergency during a holiday weekend; I was in immense pain with a severe infection due to a cracked tooth, and Dr. Greg got me in that day and addressed the issue. This is the most welcoming dental office I've ever been to! My family and I moved from VA to NY, and this office has been so helpful. Ann Marie at the front desk is absolutely amazing and is genuinely interested in your experience. We had our first appt today, and they gave my daughter and I flowers for our first appt. My daughter gets super nervous going to the dentist but Jess made her feel relaxed and great about the experience! Awesome Dentist!

I had a dental emergency, a broken crown. Dr. Greg Lang was able to see me today, remove the crown and do the easiest impressions that I have ever had done. Tomorrow the tooth will be extracted and the partial will be ready with the replacement tooth. Dr. Greg Lang is confident, knowledgeable and has a very calming nature. The entire office staff is caring and excellent to work with.

All I can say is wow! I am not a fan of dentists. What a nice and friendly atmosphere with honest professionals. After being told I needed 12 fillings, I decided to get a second opinion. Guess what? No cavities at all. Not one! The team at Dr Lang's really took their time and made sure to give me a positive experience and for that I will never be able to say thank you enough. I will continue to recommend Dr Lang's office to all of my friends and family!

I had a great first experience at Lang Dental. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming and gave me all the information i needed plus some. I love that I was offered estimates of my future treatments beforehand because I have been to offices who have told me everything was good with payment and AFTER i received a large bill and couldnt finish my procedure because I wasnt told in advance. So glad i found Lang Dental on Google. Also after my cleaning I don't think I've seen or feel my teeth so white in so long.

I had a good visit at Land Dental. However, there was a strong smell of perfume in the room I was in and it effected my asthma. The Dr. was kind enough to open the windows and that helped a bit. Also, I was surprised not to have to rinse with hydrogen peroxide first as we are still in the pandemic.
