The joy of changing a person`s life by creating positive relationships built on trust and the development of exceptional oral health is one of the rewards of being a dentist that is difficult to measure. I love practicing dentistry and serving my friends, family, and neighbors in the Holland, Zeeland, and Saugatuck communities.
Memories of a positive childhood dental experience influenced my decision to pursue dentistry as a career. I received a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2000 from Hope College. In 2004, I graduated with my Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Since then, I have completed advanced training in oral surgery, endodontics, and restorative dentistry through the general residency program at Meriter Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.
I am originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan and have lived in Grand Rapids for 14 years. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and doing many outdoor activities with my fun-loving husband, two young boys, and chocolate lab.

Absolutely fantastic dentist. I love going here. I was always nervous and anxious about the dentist, but Dr. Lane and her staff are the best. I recommend them to absolutely everyone. They're so friendly and nice. Dr. Lane is fantastic and truly cares about her patients. I was not surprised when I learned that she had patients follow her to this practice.

One of the best decisions I've made was to switch to Hilary Lane DDS 3+ years ago. Hilary & staff are professional, kind, knowledgeable and do great work. Interacting with Hilary Lane & staff has been clear, transparent, kind and met with real empathy. I had switched to Hilary Lane after going to a different dentist in Holland and it has been significantly healthier for, both, my oral and mental health. I used to get very nervous/anxious about even just routine cleanings, I now do not. I used to feel unclear and ambiguous about procedures & payments, I now do not have to experience this. I trust Hilary Lane's practice very much. I continue to recommend friends and family to this practice. Highly recommend.
