Dr. James (Jim Ed) Lane is a lifelong Murfreesboro resident. Dr. Lane attended Oakland High School and graduated in 1997. Dr. Lane attended the University of Tennessee where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology in the spring of 2002. Later that year, he began his dental school education at UTs Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee where he obtained his D.D.S. in 2006. Dr. Lane practiced in Tullahoma, Tennessee for 3 years before planting his roots in his home town of Murfreesboro, Tennessee in 2009 by opening his very own private practice.

Dr. Lane is married to Katie Gallimore Lane. They reside just outside of town in Lascassas. They have two beautiful little girls, Libi and Ansley. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and the outdoors. In his spare time, Dr. Lane enjoys golfing, working out, and watching sporting events.

Alisha attended Draughons Junior College where she became a registered dental assistant in 2008. Alisha has been with Lane Dentistry since the doors opened in 2009 where she started out as lead assistant. She later became office manager in 2012. She currently lives in Lynchburg with her husband, Ron, and their two-year-old daughter, Kaiya. Alisha enjoys being a mom, shopping, and spending time with family.

Jessica is from Dickson, Tenn. She graduated from MTSU in 2012 and decided to stay in Murfreesboro due to her love for our town and the great friendships shes made along the way. Jessica has been in the dental field since 2015. She enjoys cooking, game nights, attending concerts, and spoiling her shih tzu, Oscar.

Lauren has been a part of the Lane Dentistry family since 2013. She is a native of Murfreesboro, graduating from Siegel High School in 2006 and East Tennessee State University with bachelor degree in Science in 2011. She is married to Dennis, and they have two beautiful little girls, Olivia and Madison. Lauren enjoys hanging out with her family and friends, playing pickle ball and game nights.

Kayla joined the Lane Dentistry family in April 2019 and graduated in 2007 from TSU with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She has lived in Murfreesboro since 2001 and has a fur baby named Titan. Kayla enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as working out and shopping.

Lacey graduated with her RDA license from TN Tech Center of Shelbyville in 2006. She completed her expanded functions course at UT Memphis in 2019. She has over 16 years of experience in the dental field. Lacey is a native of Shelbyville. She enjoys crafting, kayaking and fishing.

Shelby is the newest member of our dental family. She graduated with her RDA License from Tennessee Professional Training Institute in 2019. She grew up in Smyrna and now resides in Shelbyville with her fianc, Ryan and their three beautiful daughters, Kyleigh, Ava, and Lily. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, shopping, and being a mother.
