Dr. Christopher Chow Dr. Christopher Chow was born and raised here in Honolulu, an alumnus of Punahou School. He left Hawaii to attend the University of Southern California, where he received his bachelors degree in both Biology and Dental Hygiene. He went on to pursue his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Indiana University. He has been practicing dentistry since 2005 and loves creating relationships with his patients. Dr. Chow is a member of the Hawaii Dental Association and Pacific Dental. When he is not in the office, he is spending time with his wife, Leina, and their two daughters, Kailee and Aubrey. You can also find him surfing and diving around Oahu.
Dr. Dennis Nagata was born and raised in Honolulu. He is a graduate of Iolani School. He was inspired to pursue dentistry by his mother Nancy who worked with the military at Schofield Barracks Dental clinic as a dental assistant. Dr. Nagata received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California in 1979.
Dr. Nagata founded the Hawaii Center for Cosmetic and Laser dentistry in 1979. Dr. Nagata was a former clinical instructor at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies where he helped dentists learn advanced and specialized techniques to help patients in need of complex treatment. He continues to lecture and present cases and participates in numerous post graduate programs.
Dr. Nagata is a general & cosmetic dentist who has over 40 years of experience in his field. He is currently serving patients dental needs at Landmark Dental Group in Honolulu, Hawaii. Established in 1980, Landmark Dental Group offers numerous dental services, including biocompatible dentistry, general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, TMJ treatment, and sleep apnea. Our dental team is committed to excellent oral health for our patients. We offer comprehensive dental care and brilliant cosmetic dentistry to Honolulu, Hawaii and the surrounding areas. Dr. Nagata has served as a Clinical Instructor at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dr. Nagata is also deeply involved with Sleep Dentistry and is trained and certified to treat Obstructive Sleep Apnea using Oral Appliances and Nightlase Snoring Reduction therapy.

Dr. Gary H. Morikawa Dr. Gary Morikawa is a local and was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon and the University of Hawaii before attending the University of Missouri School of Dentistry. Here, he completed his doctorate in dental science in 1987. His goal as a dentist today is to provide the best possible care for patients and share his knowledge of dentistry.
Dr. Kentaro Matsumoto was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, and graduated in 2002 from Showa Dental School in Tokyo. After working as a dentist in Japan, he moved to Hawaii to achieve his goals of obtaining a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and an American DDS degree. In 2009, he graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with a MBA. In 2015, he graduated from theUniversity of Southern California where he completed the Advanced Standing Program for International Dentists (DDS). Dr. Matsumoto is one of the few dentists in Hawaii who has obtained the dental license in both Japan and the U.S.

Dr.Chow & his staff are amazing, very professional and took great care of me! I had cavities filled /teeth cleaning and they did an amazing job making me comfortable from the very beginning. My teeth feel great again! Would highly recommend Landmark Dental Group :)

I had a filling down on the top front left side of my mouth. 2 days later it fell out because I was flossing my teeth. NOT EXEPTEPAL! I went back to have it re done and any he filed the tooth down to much that I now have a gap after he put in new filling. I was I a lot of pain for over 2 weeks and then to have a gap that I never had at the front on my teeth makes me really upset. Don't go and definitely don't see doctor in need sometime of cosmetics done to my tooth to make it look right..

five stars for the Landmark Dental Team. I had a really bad toothache. I reached out to Dr Chow and he had me come in and get all fixed up by Dr kang on such short notice. Dr kang and his team did my root canal which by the way I was scared. But Dr kang and his team made me feel very comfortable and everything went smoothly. They completed the procedure and fixed me up, No more toothache. Thank you to Dr chow and Dr Kang and the Landmark Dental team and staff for always making my experience first class. I appreciate the pride and the exceptional service when I am there. Awesome job everyone!!!!!

Called because i need extensive work. Gentlemen who answered the phone was completely useless. Tried to give him my policy number and he said thats not how it works? HOW DOES IT WORK THAN DUDE? You guys just lost at least two implants amongst a plethora of other work that could have headed your way because your guy does not have people skill.

Dr. Nagata and his team are fantastic! The office and team are all welcoming and Dr. Nagata is an expert at what he does. His assistant, Josie is so kind and helpful. I have gone to him for both normal dental work and also to have my veneers done. I am beyond happy with how they turned out and would recommend him to anyone looking to improve their smile! I have had them for about four months and at times I forget that they are not my real teeth they feel so real and natural! I have talked with others who also have veneers and the work Dr. Nagata and his team did truly are the best I have ever seen. If you are looking for a dentist or cosmetic dentist on Oahu, Dr. Nagata is the best!

Received several emails and text message reminders for my 4pm appointment only to revive a call at 3:10 to tell me they messed up and have me scheduled for 3pm. Now they can not see me because they don't have enough time due to closing at 5pm. Wasted a whole afternoon. Get your business in order.

They are very nice, but not very knowledgeable or don't explain potential issues to patients. The first time I went there, I had molar pain and the dentist said my filling had failed. He recommended a $1,000 fix and was visibly disappointed when I decided to wait for the insurance quote. A second dentist I saw said he didn't think anything was wrong with the tooth and suggested a mouth guard for clenching. He said the mouth guard could replace my retainer. That was not true, and it has shifted my teeth. Now I am on a long and expensive road to fix the issues caused to my bite and gums. They are very nice, but not very knowledgeable and I hope this review helps others avoid my mistake.

Limited review. I booked online as a new patient with confirmation provided. What was not listed, or at least was unaware of, is that there is an approval process. Before this, your appointment is not actually scheduled. Just a warning, would call to confirm.

Friendly staff. Beautiful office. Dr. Nagata's staff always does a good job in cleaning my teeth. I had some sensitivity in a tooth -- so Marina took an x-ray to have Dr. Nagata check it out. It was done and Dr. Nagata checked it right away. Very efficient.

Erika was very knowledgeable, friendly and through. In her interactions with me during my exam, cleaning and questions I asked, I felt listened to and respected. This was my first time having a cleaning done by her. She was great! On previous occasions I've had Lawrence clean my teeth and he too is great! The office staff are delightful and so accommodating! Very pleasant and caring individuals!

It all started with my crown rolling off its post. The dentist and assistants all worked to accommodate my needs. They went above and beyond, even when we encountered a road block they helped me come up with a solution. I have to say I've spent more time in the dentist chair lately then what I prefer but I appreciate the kindness and professionalism I have been given. Aloha
