During his schooling, Dr. Skinkys was chosen to complete a comprehensive general practice residency in dentistry at Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital in Lakeview. At Illinois Masonic, he completed rotations through anesthesia, Cook County Hospitals department of oral surgery, and the IMMC emergency room. In addition, this hospital-setting program gave him advanced training in treating special needs patients and medically compromised patients as well as performing dental sedation.
Sedation dentistry is an area of keen interest for Dr. Skinkys because it gives him another effective option for treating the anxious patient. Furthermore, Dr. Skinkys holds an Illinois license to perform dental sedation. He is the current vice president of the Illinois component of the American Dental Sedation Association and a member of the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology.
Dr. Skinkys is a member in good standing of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Association, and the Chicago Dental Society. Dr. Skinkys has completed over 500 hours of continuing education since graduating dental school and is committed to providing the most current and technologically advanced techniques to his patients. Dr. Skinkys believes it is essential to provide patient education and customer service along with dentistry that provides results. He prides himself in connecting with his patients to create long-lasting relationships centered around excellent oral health.
Dr. Skinkys grew up in Bensenville and is a very cautious Chicago Bears fan. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have four children Kate, Ben, and newborn twins, Peter and Adam. They share their home with two cats, Fiona and Apple. In his free time, Dr. Skinkys loves watching his kids grow up, finds excuses not to go running, and stays current in the field by reading dental textbooks.

All the staff is friendly Doctors are awesome I literally was terrified my 1st time .I dont know how they do it but I literally dont get any pain like other dentist visits .I love this place

Dr. SKINKYS is not only a thorough and exceptional dentist, he is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He always listens to my complaints and thoroughly assesses the problems I have with my teeth. He is thorough in his treatment and helps you make an informed decision. If you want a caring and knowledgeable professional who has an excellent bedside manner and who works diligently to make sure you are satisfied with your dental treatment, Dr. Lance SKINKYS is who I recommend. He has treated me and my three children for several years and we have been very pleased!

Lance and his awesome team put me at ease my entire visit by taking every safety precaution I would like to see (my first dr visit since covid hit). I put off the dentist during covid but had a toothache and was able to get into a visit within a week, which was perfect. They were all extremely friendly, had new technology and scans that helped me understand the process and what they were doing. My family just moved to the area and we weren't very happy with our previous dentist in Mokena. What an upgrade! I would have driven to Plainfield from Mokena if I would have known how much better they would be. Can't recommend them enough. Give them a call and get an appointment set up and put your mind at ease. Thanks again!

I highly recommend Dr. Skinkys. He really cares about his patients and his work. I had a new crown that had some of the glue wash away and he wanted to replace it for me for free. I procrastinated and he still didn't charge me 4 years later. He and his staff are really great and make going to the dentist a pleasant experience.

Best dental office ever! Everyone is super nice working there and they are genuine about dental care, they don't suggest something unnecessary unless you need it, which is great because as a college student I have limited funds and this place gives you the care you need. You can relax and be confident they aren't going to rip you off. They're super sweet and I even got a cute little card in the mail with all the staffs signatures as a thank you for referring my sister! That was so nice. Will recommend to everyone I know.
