We offer a full range of services, from general and family dentistry to cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics, and we will work one-on-one with you to ensure your needs are met. Our team also provides same-day emergency dental care, and we offer flexible office hours to accommodate your schedule.
Dr. Hugo Chavez is originally from Peru and obtained his DDS in 1985 from the Peruvian university Cayetano Heredia. He practiced general dentistry with an emphasis in orthodontics from 1985 to 1987 and also worked as a volunteer in the Peruvian Cancer National Institute. From 1987 to 1988, Dr. Chavez participated in the oral and maxillofacial prosthetics program of Roswell Park Memorial Institute in Buffalo, New York. Dr. Chavez learned about the prosthetic rehabilitation of patients after oral cancer surgery and the management of oral complications of patients undergoing chemotherapy and head and neck radiation. In 1991, Dr. Chavez obtained his masters degree in oral sciences from the University at Buffalo, and that same year, he moved to Florida to practice general dentistry. He has been practicing as a solo practitioner in Orlando, Florida, for the past 10 years. He is a member of several associations, including the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association. I woke up today with incredible tooth pain. I thought for sure it would take months to resolve. Instead, I got a same day appointment that resulted in an expertly performed and painless root canal! Also, for my fellow trans people, they were incredibly respectful and affirming. From someone who runs a primary care practice for LGBTQA+ people, this means so much to me. To all the staff of Lancaster Dental, you're the best!

Best dentist ever. I've been seeing him for over 7 years. He is not a crook like most dentist. He only recommends what you need. He is thoughtful , kind and compassionate.

We have been coming here for all of our families dental needs for almost 10 years... the staff is amazing. Dr. Chavez is phenomenal!! Even though we now live far , we continue to commute for the experience and service.

I highly recommend Dr Chavez for any of your dental needs. He is the most patient, professional and knowledgeable dentist I've ever known. After a terrible experience with another dentist, who made a horrible bridge for my 6 front teeth, he patiently heard all of my frustrations and painful experiences and took the time to explain what he could do for me and now I have a bridge that is very comfortable and beautiful. I am so grateful to Dr Chavez and his staff. They all really care and make you feel like family or a friend, not just another patient

Phenomenal. I have been terrified of the dentist since a young age and have many issues needing attended to because I had avoided seeing a dentist for over 10 years. Dr. Chavez is very patient and understanding - he really does listen to his patients and takes the utmost care to ensure your comfort and put your anxieties at ease. I have had X-rays, cleaning, extraction, fillings on 5 teeth, and a veneer done by him and the quality of work is outstanding. To put things in perspective: Dr. Chavez had me go outside in the sunlight with a mirror to make sure the color of my fillings were perfect. I have seen a lot of local practitioners to get an idea of what I needed to do to get back on track with my dental health - none were as reasonable or realistic as Dr. Chavez. I was provided options that would work for me and my budget. The staff is equally great - they all seem to care about patients and treat them like people instead of a number. As embarrassed as I am about how bad my teeth were starting out I have attached a before and after of my most recent procedure to show the quality of work and attention to detail.

I was unsure of where to go when I had extreme dental pain from a fractured tooth and cavity while on vacation in Disneyworld, especially since it happened on a Saturday evening! Dr. Chavez ended up coming in on Sunday, his day off, to resolve my pain. He worked quickly and thoroughly and made sure I fully understood everything that I needed to do to recover and maintain great dental health

I've been coming here for years. They're very thorough in their procedures and clean. Provide soothing music and television for those who are waiting room. Its quick and easy. You can ask em plenty of questions. Its important you make an appointment or you'll have to wait for a long period.
