Dry mouth, or xerostomin is the result of decreased saliva production, which affects up to 60% of older adults. Saliva lubricates the mouth helping to prevent decay and protect tooth enamel. But dont worry; there are plenty of ways to manage this condition.
Dry mouth can be caused by a variety of reasons, including medications you may be taking, radiation or cancer treatments, smoking, immune deficiency, systemic diseases (such as Diabetes, Parkinsons, Sjogren syndrome) or salivary gland aplasia.
Also, avoid alcohol or alcohol products (including mouth rinses containing alcohol), glycerin or lemon toothette swabs, food or drinks promoting dry mouth (caffeine, sweet sticky foods, spicy, acidic or dry foods) and lemon or cinnamon flavoured candy or gum.

What can you expect from the Russians? A quality service that cares for you as you rather than as a number on a list? Think again. These people don't care about you, they care about money. All the work on teeth and custom dentures was overpriced and disingenuously delivered with a fake smile.

Lana's Dental Care had been good for dental care and philanthropy. The office is well run and the staff is pleasant. The doctors are very professional. When I had a fundraiser they donates items for our cause. I would recommend them.

I have been going to Dr. Lana for years and have always had a great experience here. Dr. Lewicki is a new dentist added to the team and she is terrific. Annie and Jamie their assistants are also terrific. They all make me feel comfortable through their kindness and professionalism!! Greg, the Office Manager is great with my dental insurance, scheduling and kindness. I highly recommend this practice!!

This place is the best. The care the doctor and staff put into each visit does not go unnoticed. Everyone is so kind and my cleaning was gentle on my teeth. I didn't feel rushed and the doctor provided me with the time and care I needed. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a great dentist in the area!

Moved down from Illinois and was looking for a new dentist. From booking the appointment to checking out everyone was very helpful and friendly along the way. Dr. Lewicki was very personable and my hygienist Stephanie did a great job as well. I will definitely be going back to this office after my first visit.
