We've been going lamorinda tooth buds with my son who is quite anxious about going and each time we are met with calm, kind and relaxing professionals who put my son and myself at ease. We feel lucky to have found tooth buds and plan to continue there as long as possible!

I am very happy with the level of care my family was provided today. I have three kids and they were all a bit nervous about visiting a new dentist. From beginning to end of the appointments the service/care was exceptional. The receptionist was so patient and kind, the hygenist was caring and provided explanations, the dentist really walked us through treatment in detail. I can tell this is very caring environment and I'm here for it. Already have our next appointments scheduled. Thank you team!

Our 5yr old has had a few visits, most recently getting a few cavities filled. Our experience each time has been amazing - everyone makes him feel comfortable, as well as distracted enough to make getting his first cavity filled smooth and uneventful (in the best ways possible). Highly recommend!

The staff was extremely sweet and caring. You can see how mindful they are of all their patients and the parents. My toddler was treated so kindly. They ask a lot of questions and ensure all your questions are answered. Bravo ladies!!

First off every single person in the office was so sweet and made sure to somehow connect with my daughter. It was her first time going to the dentist. Desi was her hygienist and explained everything and let my daughter feel the instruments and told her what they did. The dentist was very sweet and gentle, I don't remember his name but he was great!

I continue to be impressed by Lamorinda Tooth Buds. We switched from another dental office because they were no longer managing our insurance. I wish we had jumped sooner--this office is friendly, clean and efficient. My daughter loves the sweet therapy dog there, too!

SO incredibly happy with and impressed by this team. My son is autistic and was struggling with some severe dentist anxiety the day of his appointment, despite a zero pressure walk through day a while back. The Lamorinda Tooth Buds team met him where he was, talked with him about his fears, slowed it all down to his pace, and made some great suggestions for keeping calm throughout -- like using the lead x-ray vests like a weighted blanket, or holding/petting the clinic therapy pup. He was even able to stay mostly distracted by a favorite Disney flick of his choice playing overhead, right in his sightline. He made it through beautifully, honestly exceeding even what I was hoping he'd get through. I'm so grateful to Desi, his hygienist, and the whole team for their kindness and patience.

I have been to four other dentists all who told me I needed to put my 10 year old Autistic son under general anesthesia to get his dental work done. He also has the methyl folate reductase gene mutation (MTHFR) which contraindicates Nitrous Oxide-Oxygen. Dr Jen Tung was willing to work with us. Initially after the first visit she also came to the conclusion my son needed to be put under general anesthesia. However after expressing my concerns she decided to give him another chance. We decided to do several visits to complete the work little by little so my son would not be overwhelmed. At the next visit she was able to pull out a baby tooth and complete a filling all without general anesthesia. I am so happy I finally found a dentist who was willing to listen to my concerns and work with my son. She is a fabulous, patient, kind and excellent dentist! Entire staff is amazing as well! I highly recommend Lamorinda Tooth Buds!

All three of my kids go here (ages 19 months to 6yrs old). Our kids LOVE Dr. Roy - one is even inspired to become a dentist as a result of our time here. Our 19 month old, surprisingly, let Dr. Roy examine and clean her teeth, and did not cry at all. Dr. Roy is very knowledge, trustworthy, and just an absolute pleasure to see interacting with our kids. I recommend this office to everyone in the Lafayette area!

Dr. Roy and her entire team are exceptional! I took my 3 year old son for the first time and he enjoyed the experience so much he talks about his dentist all the time! Dr. Roy certainly has a gift for this. She was able to hold Israel's attention and teach him about oral hygiene so he would understand. Now he does so much better when I am flossing his teeth as a result. I cannot recommend La Morinda Tooth Buds. Not to mention, we drove from over 30 miles away and it was very much worth it!

First time taking my kids here and I have to say it was a great experience. It brought me back to when I was a kid and the dentist I would go to, I loved going to the dentist and thats what I wanted for my kids. They're very welcoming, super nice and my kids left happy and excited to go back. My daughter has not been a fan of going to the dentist, she wouldn't let them touch her teeth and she would cry. But after bringing her to Lamorinda Tooth Buds she didn't cry, instead she laughed and talked with everyone about her Halloween costume. To hear her laughing and talking was absolutely amazing. They have a therapy dog to help ease the kids and she just loved that. I will definitely be going back and I recommend taking your kids to see Dr. Roy and her amazing staff.

Dr. Roy is gentle with children and takes her time to explain treatment options. The office staff is friendly and professional. The environment is geared for children who love visiting (movies, games, treasure chest, etc.).

I wish I could go to here along with my son. He had his first dental visit and had a great time which included toys, tvs, sunglasses, therapy dog, and a balloon/rubber duckie to go!
