I met with Dr. Omar Faridi to have my cracked molar extracted. Dr. Faridi and all of his staff are wonderful. They provide a clean calming environment as soon as you walk in the door. I never felt like they were trying to rush me in and out which was great. Dr. Faridi is very personal, knowledgeable, encouraging and a good listener. He explained everything to me clearly in a non condescending way as he was progressing during the procedure. When he was numbing my mouth, he was sympathetic to the pain from the needle which wasn't bad at all and I am needle phobic! I really appreciated that. I wish all medical professionals were like this. After the extraction, his assistant made sure my blood pressure was normal before I left! He has a very happy calming demeanor. I looked up his bio on their website. He is very accomplished! Thank you to Dr. Faridi and your wonderful staff!

Dr Lam is very kind, gentle and knowledgable. I came here for my two wisdom teeth removal. Dr Lam explained the procedure very clearly, also, the extraction was done very well. The reason I gave this place negative reviews is due to one of the receptionists. Obviously Macia is very professional and helpful, unlike the other one ( I'm not sure her name). At the first beginning, I tried to make an appointment cause my wisdom teeth was in pain, the unknown receptionist told me that they only have available time at the end of October. I asked her, are you sure? She insisted there was no available time. Then, I called second time and Macia helped me book the appointment for a week later eventually. I don't understand why there is such a big difference between different receptionists??? Why did the other receptionist told me they are not available until the end of next month? This is super funny! Then, the second day after the teeth extraction, I was suffered from an inflammation of the throat. As a result I tried to contact them to get antibiotics. Unfortunately, the other receptionist answered the phone again. Omg I wish it was not her!!! She said that the doctor would not give antibiotics prescription to patients when they had wisdom teeth extraction. I begged her to consult with Dr Lam for me, however I haven't heard any response from her ever since then. I ended up getting the prescription from my family doctor. Can't believe that this kind of unhelpful staff are working for Dr. Lam.

I had a very nice experience with the extraction of a troublesome tooth. I am a very nervous dental patient, and Dr. Lam and staff made it as easy as possible for me. Dr. Lam is very kind and affable, and explains the procedure before doing it. I highly recommend him.

I was at my Dentist when she told me I need to see an Oral Surgeon and recommended me seeing Dr Peter Lam's office. They called and got me an appointment that day because I was in pain. I saw Dr. Faridi and he was very kind and super sharp. He understood my fear of dentistry and was very compassionate. He fixed my immediate issue, and I instantly lost my pain that I had for last 10 days. So, to me, he was a life saver! We have a plan my for future oral surgery and I am confident with the plan. Staff were super nice efficient. Thank you.

Such a great experience, I got my wisdom teeth removed here, and the procedure was smooth! Dr. Faridi was very informative and made me feel comfortable! The assistants were also very helpful and great ! Love it here

Top notch expertise, super friendly doctor and staff. It's a pleasure to receive treatment of any kind from them - tooth extractions and implants, advice and long term care. My favorite place to lose a tooth and get a high quality replacement. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Dr Faridi was great, so was his assistant. It was virtually a painless procedure, besides the numbing shots that I received, which hurt very little. He took the best course of action, for my situation and explained it in detail, which is the best you can ask for. He also made sure I was doing ok, throughout the entire procedure. His assistant put me at ease and explained patiently, the necessary steps and how to do them, after the surgery. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is because of Marsha, the front desk associate/receptionist. She was very rude to my mom and I. She was very inflexible and also very impatient, with questions regarding my bill. Even when she was scheduling, my follow-up appointment, she was very inflexible and rude. Avoid her if you can, her customer service skills are Non Existent. I would give Marsha negative stars if I could, Merry Christmas Marsha!

The receptionist Katrina was very helpful, responsive, and genuinely caring. Saw Dr. Faridi for a consultation and he was very knowledgeable, professional, and respectful of my opinions. He presented the issues very clearly in lay terms so I could understand and worked with me to formulate a plan which I really respect.

Note: This review does not cover Dr. Lam's actual dental or surgical capability, just my experience this morning navigating his team's office logistics. I was referred to Dr. Lam for an emergency extraction of a swollen and painful tooth. I was initially offered an appointment in a month (consultation only, extraction to follow in..?). I asked for something sooner, and was offered an appointment for the following day. I filled out most of the required paperwork online, and arrived a few minutes before my appointment to complete it. Afterwards, I was led to a room in the back and asked to wait for the Dr. Despite waiting for an hour, I was never seen by the Dr. Two or three assistants were in and out of the room in that time. One of the workers told me that the Dr. was finishing up another patient, and would see me soon. Another of the workers took the time to complain about the previous gentlemen not leaving the proper tools for the Dr., but couldn't offer me any advice besides to keep waiting. For procedures wherein the patient is to be sedated, it is necessary to abstain from food and drink. As a diabetic, it is difficult for me to go long periods without eating and drinking. The requirement for this procedure was quoted at ~8 hours; with an 11:00 a.m. start time - that means I haven't had a chance to eat for ~14 hours (yesterday dinner). Around 11:30 I started feeling nauseated from low blood sugar, and was doubled over in the chair waiting for it to pass. Unfortunately, without being able to eat or drink anything, the nausea kept coming back. Approaching noontime, it seemed unlikely that I would be able to continue. Around 11:55 the first gentlemen returned, and said that the Dr. " hadn't forgotten about you." Note, this was the third or fourth time I had heard this phrase, and I was starting to doubt it. I mentioned that I'm not feeling well and when I could expect the Dr. to see me The gentleman seemed peeved by my question, and responded with a bit of an attitude: "well, he still needs to finish up his current patient, and he has a consult after that." At this point another wave of nausea hit me and I had to leave. I said "ok, I'm done, I need to leave." As I left, the gentlemen looked at me, shrugged, and said "eh, ok." I have very little to show for my time with this office. I never got to see the Dr., I wasted a precious day off of work, and I now need to get a new referral from my Dentist and reschedule with an office that has their act together. In the meanwhile, I still can't eat anything on the left side of my mouth. I notice that the Dr. has a lot of good reviews. I have no reason to doubt them, but I didn't get a chance to see for myself if he's as capable as the reviews might suggest.

Dr. Peter Lam and staff were extremely professional and friendly. My tooth extraction went quite well and the procedure was rather quick and painless. Dr. Lam even followed up with me with a telephone call in the late evening to see how I was doing and feeling! I would highly recommend Dr. Lam for all dental procedures, especially extractions! Thanks, Dr. Peter and Staff!!!

It was just the consultation visit to see which my teeth would be extracted. The staff there put me at ease and we have a plan for 2 weeks from now! I am satisfied at the outset.

Dr Lam is very knowledgeable, professional, explains things very well, and is very pleasant. Technically, he is superb at his craft. His staff is outstanding from front office to back office. I highly recommend his offices. I've been to both locations.

My dentist referred me to Dr. Omar, friendly staff very clean and yes I'm taking off my wisdom teeth, he explained it so well. Looking forward for Sept 24th. See u Guys 10:30am.

The medical and office personnel here are second to none. The doctor took a great deal of time to explain the procedure. The staff were extremely kind and professional. The process itself went as expected, and I did not experience any pain as the numbing effects of the medicine worked well. There's a reason this is one of the best known and most respected dental offices in Los Angeles.

I saw Dr. Faridi and had a tooth extraction. He was very knowledgeable. He informed me everything prior to the procedure; I know what to expect and what was the outcome. The assistant was awesome! She saw how nervous I was and was my morale support throughout the process. Dr. Faridi kept on assuring me through the entire process, which incidentally, took only a few minutes. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Faridi, and his staff, to anyone. Thank you so much!

Oral Surgery is NEVER fun, but I have to say that Dr. Faridi and the staff in San Marino were fabulous! From the moment we arrived Marcia was so kind and smiling (so rare in this time) and Dr. Faridi and his assistant were both so genuine and explained the procedure and we were off to the races and finished in less than 30 minutes. Dr. Faridi was great, no pain and told me everything exactly as it was going to happen. I would recommend them with 5++ stars and will definitely return if and when I have other oral surgery needs. Thank you to Dr. Faridi and Staff!!
