Dr. Robert T. Lalor, better known as Doc, was raised in the Bronx, NY. He graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame. He continued on to Columbia University, where he graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1961. In the early 1960s, Doc and his wife spent three years in New Mexico for the Public Health Service and provided dentistry to Navajo Indians. They went on to be the proud parents of five children. Dr. Lalor opened his practice at 9 Tioga Blvd, Apalachin, NY in 1964. He provided dental care to the community for almost 50 years before his retirement in June 2011. Doc passed away peacefully in December 2017 surrounded by his family. We pride ourselves on continuing the precedent he set for providing exceptional patient care and always giving back to our community.

Very professional, respectful. I am an older adult and the technology is different. Questions were answered, helpful comments were made. Technology did not void treatment as a human being. Personable staff and that means a lot.

I have had very positive experiences at Lalor Family Dental in Vestal so far. Dentists and assistants are beyond excellent. The staff is amazing. The technology they use is updated. The facilities are pristine in terms of cleanliness and decor. I highly recommend this practice. Thank you so much!

I am a new patient at Lalor Creekside Dental. My first impression was the person I talked to on the phone- pleasant, helpful & knowledgeable. When I went in for my first visit, from the time of check in to the time I left, I was treated with so much respect and kindness. I spent the most time with Victoria. She was so friendly, encouraging and knowledgeable. Explained everything she was doing, making sure I understood, and allowed time for questioning. She had a lot to accomplish being my first visit, but at no time did I feel rushed. The dentist I saw was wonderful. She explained what the findings of the X-rays, and possible solutions. Again, she made sure understood. I jokingly asked them if only nice people applied to work there or did working there make them nicer. The true test for me is my palms did not sweat nor did I feel panicky. In the paste I have had bad to horrible experiences at the dentist office. Frequently lectured about my teeth and poor care. During the entire visit I felt calm, no sweaty palms, and no negativity about the amount of dental work in the past. I so appreciate their kindness, knowledge and positive attitude. I would highly recommend them.

I had an excellent visit this time. The wait time was minimal, the procedure went quickly, and they always tell me who is coming into the room and what is happening at each moment. I really appreciate the way I'm treated. It was painless and cost less than I had anticipated. Great visit.

Simply put, in my 35 years of dental visits, Lalor is the best experience I've ever had. They're efficient but don't make you feel like just another number. Everyone is incredibly kind and friendly and they go above and beyond to prove it. In a world where dentists can be scary, Lalor is the saving grace. Highly recommend!

Having tooth pain and able to get a quick appointment. The dentist was excellent, explaining everything carefully and able to quickly get to the root of the problem(no pun intended). The hygienist also did a great job.
