Went and saw Dr. Duerson today for an evaluation of whether i needed a root canal. The offices was professional and the staff great. After meeting Dr Duerson he was professional and honest. His opinion was not to do a root canal, it did not need it. That is what we need is honest and caring professional. Great office, would highly recommend Lakewood Ranch Endodontics .

Beautiful, Professional, and Super Fast office! Just an FYI kind of review if you're in the same boat as me. My Dentist referred me here and sent my records. I was told by Dr Craig based off the fact I have had an infection for so long my root canal was to far gone for repair (I have had a bump around the bad tooth come and go for years) I spent a total of 3-5 minutes in the office $95.00. They do not do extractions. Next step is an oral surgeon.

Dr. Duerson was fantastic. I went in for my first root canal today. And I was quite nervous given from what I've heard about them over the years. He assured me I wouldn't feel much if not any. As the procedure started. I told the assistant I needed a bit more numbing as I felt a slight discomfort.(completely tolerable but might as well numb more right) she replied saying the root canal was already done!!! I couldn't believe it. What a great experience! Also all of the staff were amazing and personable. If I ever need one again. I know exactly where I'm going. Thanks Dr Craig!

After reading the reviews, I was very nervous to go in for my first of 2 root canals. The front desk people were very friendly, even as I walked in the back door and not the front door. The dental tech that took me back to take X-rays and prepare me was very nice and patient. I told her I was a bad gagger and she took her time with the X-rays helping me so I Wouldn't gag. Dr Duerson came In and introduced himself explained what was going to happen. He checked the X-rays and then numbed my mouth. I was praying the entire time bc I had a crown put on in Parrish and it was excruciating, in fact I was in so much pain for 9 months that I was going to an oral Surgeon to have it removed. Anyway back to LRE, Throughout the root canal they took X-rays, he finished, took one last X-ray , packed the tooth with a clay. Told me the clay would break down a bit. That I Should have the crowns put on within 4 weeks of the roadmap. They said it would be better to wait till I get next root canal before I go get the crowns. He asked me if I had any other questions, gave me prescription for pain and verified I had an RX for antibiotics and then wished me a nice rest of my day. Even though I'm am in some pain and tooth is pulsating, which is to be expected, it was a great experience. Dr. Duerson did a great job!! Just went in for root canal number2. I am a gagger. He was very polite, explained process, gave instruction

Had a root canal. Procedure was unremarkable. Doctor and assist did not adequately educate me on post-op care. They were just in a rush to get out and send me on my way. After I paid, I was handed a generic after-care instruction sheet that did not really cover much. I was just given a prescription of antibiotics and told that the clay filling may fail and fall out. I was not told what to do in the event of it failing, who to call, how to reduce the chance of it happening, etc. I get pretty bad anxiety related to dental work, so I'm not always fully clear headed after having my tooth drilled into -- and they expect me to come up with the questions to figure out what you need to know to take care of my tooth? Just felt zero respect as a patient. The instruction hand out had conflicting information on regarding post-op antibiotics compared to what I was told which I had to call their office to clarify and get answers to all of my questions. Dr. Duerson may be a decent endo as far as the procedure goes, but I would never recommend someone go to this office unless they changed some of their standards.

The best endodontics practice. Had a re-do root canal. Staff is wonderful & efficient. Dr. Broome is compassionate & excellent & Debbie called me to see how I was doing. A good experience. Thank you. Cheryl K.

120$ just for a 2 minute appointment and telling me that he can't do the work. And they don't carry cash at the office so I never got my change back for what I paid. I hope nobody else gets referred to this place just a bunch of scam artists !!

Went in for a root canal last week. The dentist and the lady who helped him were not personable. I told them how I don't do well with shots and tried getting them to talk to me about something, anything and they just wouldn't talk to me. Didn't feel comfortable around them. It seems like they didn't actually care.

Dr. Broome and Debbie were amazing. I always have an incredibly hard time going numb and they made sure to not only do the job but continued to ask throughout the entire process if I was comfortable and verified I couldn't feel anything. I would highly recommend them and am so happy I was able to get in quickly.

Not very efficient, but if you long for the traditional dentistry of the 50's and 60's, this is your place.

Everyone was great except the girl that takes the payment. No one deserves to go through pain from root canal and financial burn to deal with poor customer service. I recommend the dr to anyone. He was fantastic. Kind man... reason why I'm giving 5 starts. Not fair to the rest of the team that knows how to treat people right.

WOW THIS DENTIST IS THE REAL DEAL! I was informed by my dentist that I needed a root canal and he highly recommended Dr. Craig Duerson. I can't stress to you how much I hate the dentist and hearing I had to get a root canal gave me the greatest anxiety to think of having to go through. I went in for a consultation and Dr. Duerson and his staff were extremely efficient with their time in ensuring that the overall diagnostic / assessment was valid. I cannot stress to you how much I appreciated this service as 90% of other dentist/ doctors that I have been to are more money hungry and lack to validate the need for the service prior to treatment. He did confirm I needed the root canal and added me to his schedule based off of MY availability being very flexible and understanding that I don't get off of work until 4pm but was willing to stay late with his staff to take care of my tooth. Throughout the whole process, Dr. Duerson talked me through everything he was doing from numbing my teeth to what steps he was taking to drill out the canal and fill it back. The procedure was done before I knew it and I FELT NOTHING! I was shocked how easy it was and needed nothing but an Advil a few hours after the numbing went away. I received a phone call later in the evening checking up on how I was doing and felt extremely valued by their customer service. As a Quality Director for the largest fiberglass manufacturer in the US, I can't stress the importance of understanding the customers needs. Dr. Duerson and his staff exceeded my expectations and I can greatly appreciate his logical work ethic treating those who really need it.

Many thanks to Dr. Craig Duerson for his cautious approach during my visit last month. I thought the pain in a tooth with an old root canal would require immediate retreatment, but after the x-ray and exam Dr. D advised waiting to see if the pain would go away without the procedure. I'm so glad he did. Pain disappeared within a couple of days with no medication, so I avoided -- at least for now -- an expensive and lengthy procedure. Other doctors might have rushed in with some kind of intervention before it was necessary, and I really appreciate Dr. D's more careful approach. James Huntington.

Dr Deuson consult was the WORST I ever experience in my life. He was arrogant , barely gave me the time of day, and had no compassion , stood far from me with arms crossed. felt like a was a burden asking questions. He never looked in my mouth. I asked to meet with his associate realizing no way he's working on me. He coldly responded that it will cost me another $90 and I could go somewhere else. Wish I had read the reviews first before spending the consult fee. At least I felt validated and went elsewhere. I felt greed. FYI even though there may be some good reviews the bad ones are usually the real experiences to be true! Lastly the office was cold feeling echoey and didn't feel clean. As one person said they felt they were in a Burger King.

Extremely professional practice and knowledgeable staff. Had two root canal therapies with Dr Broome one month apart, different circumstances. I couldn't argue with his reasoning--takes a very evidenced-based approach to performing interventions. Emergency after hours supportive care phone line, really impressed by that, they call you back right away even late at night. Feeling grateful to have been in such competent hands with this entire frontline team. Transparency on billing too.

I can't express how grateful i am for this establishment. After coming in with MAJOR tooth pain, they went above and beyond to get me in and taken care of and out of pain. They got me in quickly for x-rays, diagnosis, and took care of the problem all within 24 hours. Dr. Duerson was incredibly nice, helpful, and compassionate. Also a beautiful and very clean office. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great Experience getting 3 root canals... It sounds like a joke, but it's not. I had my first 3 root canals within a week at Lakewood Ranch Endodontics by Dr. Duerson. Despite all the horror stories people told me about root canals, it wasn't a big deal at all. I credit my positive experience to the professionalism of Dr. Duerson and his staff. Thank you all at Lakewood Ranch Endodontics for everything you did for me. I highly recommend!!!!

I recently had an Apicoectomy and I can't say enough about the awesome care I received. Dr. Duerson and his staff were outstanding on how they explained everything and answered all of my questions. The procedure itself took about 15 minutes (or about 3 songs on my earbuds which I was allowed to have as a distraction). The best part is I experienced absolutely NO pain at any time....even post op. You should feel very good having been referred to this office. It is state of the art and super clean. Their professionalism will impress you.
